This seems deceiving to call it a vegan restaurant when it's inside a restaurant that serves meat. The food was good but we'd intentionally wanted to pick a fully vegan restaurant so everyone in our party would order vegan and were very disappointed to get handed two menus, one that was vegan and one that wasn't.

Fast service, food not bad, eggplant was cold on one side

They had multiple menus and only one of them was vegan so you have to look carefully. They offered lots of meat and dairy options. What I got was good, but the portion sizes were small. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-04

Yesssss! I've loved Ba Bar for years and also delight in Ba Bar Green- try the roasted veggie Banh Mih ( add tofu even ), it's the best vegan sandwich I've ever had!

Big menu! Nice restaurant and the food comes out at lightning speed. Prices are reasonable too. We enjoyed the tofu wraps as appetizers and I had a tofu banh mi with tamarind soup on the side.

Amazing Bahn Mi (especially when dunked in the tamarind soup that comes with it)!

Full separate vegan kitchen and menu. What more could you ask for. Soyrizo ban mi and Vietnamese coffee was great.

Went there for the first time this week, at first we were confused because the babar green is only a takeout window to the side of the main restaurant, which is not vegan. The menu had decent options and the food wasn't bad. Having to sit outside or takeaway only is a bit of a bummer though. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-10

Loved my lunch at Ba Bar Green, they offer dishes I haven't seen elsewhere and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. The area is a bit busy but is better than some of the vegan restaurants in town.

Listen this was the best food I have ever tasted. So much flavor and so well done. I have had pho all around the states and this one was special. They trimmed the fat from the beef, it was solid! I can't tell you enough that this place is a must try. We visited U district's location and Molly was our service. She was polite, patient, and knew exactly what to recommend. I decided to order two drinks. The names can be found below. One was toasted coconut, and the other was dill infused. Yes dill, like pickle. Lol. It was surprisingly refreshing, I would definitely recommend as a morning/afternoon refresher, but that toasted coconut? Oh I'm definitely coming back for that. I'm convinced you cant go wrong with whatever you chose to eat or drink here!
What I ate: Spinach Tofu Paper Wrap: I loved this and I am a meat eater and I'm floored by the flavor.
Pho Tái Lan: no words just tears lol. Delicious
Drinks:
Effective Immediately: and it definitely was that! Toasted coconut rum, sennza finne summer amaro, cinnamon, vanilla bean and eucalyptus 😍
Garden Shed: adequately named lol. Dill-infused aquavit, aloe, bell pepper syrup, lemon, and a pinch of salt. It sounds really weird but it works. It's not tart, just a weird refreshing, I can not explain it. Lol
I hope you enjoy and Molly thank you again for helping the evening be fantastic!!!
