$16.50 for a small bowl of soup that I literally finished within 10 minutes. They don’t care to include utensils or a straw for your $6 coffee either, either they are trying to save the planet or are incredibly cheap. You can get way more bang for your buck at luckys pho up in Fremont. Feels like theft

Placed an order for take out. Received the most pitiful serving size I’ve ever gotten after going to this place for years. Less than half what they’ve done in the past. You just lost a customer.

The staffs are wonderful. We went twice and ordered different dishes, but very disappointed twice. The egg-noodles were like spaghetti noodles. My husband is caucasian, but even he said “can’t fool me twice!”. I think giving 2 stars is actually being generous! Wish it wasn’t so. We grew up in Cali and we are desperate to find nice upscale Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle.

The soft serve was runny and the server acknowledged it and pointed it out upon setting it on the table . This is a quality issue as texture is important. They shouldn't be serving it let alone charging. Seems like they don't take pride in their food. The hoi an chicken was ok. The broth was quite salty. The place is understaffed. Server was not attentive. They were accommodating of switching out vermicelli for rice. There is covered outdoor seating. They also have coffee drinks. The place was nicely decorated. Parking was a little difficult as it is near the university and only street parking available.

Came here for a nightcap on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I got the drink of the day, in Lieu of Flowers, and it was such a well-balanced cocktail.I would love to come back and try the food!

We decided to eat at Ba Bar several minutes after 9:30PM, knowing they close at 12 AM but servers, particularly the woman server was rushing us to order making it feel like we were holding a line (which was nonexistent). We usually love the chill vibes at the U village spot, but this was a whole different story. And before we could even finish our orders, they were dropping the check on the table --not just one, but two receipts. Like, come on, we hadn't even hit the one-hour mark yet! Customers typically ask for the receipt when they are done. And there were plenty of empty tables--it was a Monday night after all. It really put a damper on the whole dining experience.Long story short: if you're planning to try Ba Bar, I'd pass on this place and head over to the University Village location. Food here is also bad compared to that location.Trust me, you'll thank me later.

It was our first time and the experience was phenomenal. We enjoyed their Imperial Rolls and Rotisserie Chicken with rice. The decor was on point also the flavor. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back tomorrow to explore their menu more.

Zack, Billy and Dustin - absolute legends and made my evening. Pivoted from an expertly crafted Oaxacan Old-Fashioned to my togo order of Pho Ha Noi and Garlic Crab Noods. Zero regrets / all wins. Thanks guys!

With locations in South Lake, Capitol Hill, and University Village, nobody would say that Ba Bar flies under the rada, but the slow-roasted duck suprème, served with broken rice, pickled carrots and daikon, pineapple, and nuoc cham, may well one of the best deals in town. There are few restaurants serving duck as juicy and crisp, letalone for only $21. The whole menu is packed with value, but their Bún Bò Huế (spicy beef noodles) and chewy caramelized pork floss cookies are extra special.
The pandan cake is to die for!!
Great food, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere.
