the food was super flavorful and there was a lot of it. the only option is beyond meat and potatoes with vegan aioli, which I enjoyed. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-07

It is a good option for lunch on Capitol Hill. I tried the rice with vegetable meat and beans and I really liked it. Apparently it is taken care of by its owners. I recommend it 👍🏼

This place reminds me of home—Puerto Rico! The food and service are fantastic. I just wish the space was a bit bigger. It’s a great spot to stop by anytime!

My Cubano sandwich was incredible. Stephanie behind the counter provided top notch service and good vibes. Will be returning, can't recommend enough!

Fantastic food, great people, great energy! I would eat that Cubano everyday if I could, but they are closed Monday Tuesday.

The owner is very rude and replied this: "Your page is 52 reviews mostly bashing small businesses lol get a life , lil man". My comment to you is: "Ah, I see you’re channeling the spirit of your sandwiches with that response: small and not quite satisfying. If only the humor was as balanced as the flavors in the 'Un Chin Bowl,' we’d both be in for a treat. Wishing you the best of luck – may your portions and comebacks grow in size!"

One of my favorite spots for a laid-back Latino bite in Cap Hill! I’m all about their omelet dishes and bowls—good portions, super tasty. If you’re around, you have to try the Stef's Breakfast Bowl, Ropa Vieja, or Huevos Con Weenies. So good?

Love this spot! The fake-ass Cuban is the closest thing to a Miami Cuban sandwich that I’ve gotten in Seattle. Delicious. And the beans! *chef’s kiss*

The sandwiches were shockingly small, leaving me wondering if I had mistakenly ordered from the kids' menu. The price, however, was decidedly adult-sized – bordering on exorbitant. For the quality and quantity, I expected much more bang for my buck.

I also tried the "Un Chin Bowl," which was a flavor disaster. The taste was unbalanced and unappetizing, making it difficult to finish.

Unless Bad Chancla revamps their menu and pricing, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money. There are far better options available for those seeking quality food at a reasonable price.
