Ive been coming here since i was a kid. Bagel Oasis knows how to make a proper bagel. I think these are the best bagels you’ll find in north Seattle, possibly the whole city. Highly recommend.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing?
We live in a time of thin margins and decreasing returns. Life gets more expensive and less fun. I understand this, even though I find it contemptible.
Given that, $20.85 for a bagel, cream cheese, lox, onion, capers, and tip still seems like a lot. Sure, there's a cost for nice things, one I'm more than willing to pay. But this was by far the saddest version of this beloved combination I've ever consumed.
For that charge I got two very thin pieces of lox (1 per half of the bagel), no capers, watery onions, mushy tomatoes, and a thin scraping of cream cheese on an admittedly decent everything bagel.
Seriously, the bagel was pretty good! Nice chew, had a shell on it, the seasoning was flavorful, it was the best part of the meal.
Staff were friendly and prompt, the atmosphere seemed fine. But the price for what I got felt less than fair.
If you're craving this classic, get some bagels here, then pick up your other ingredients from a grocery store and make it at home. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but I can't speak to that.

The bagels are very good. It's unfortunate that the shop has lost some of the ambiance that made it cozy back in the 2000s.
Love Bagel Oasis! Nice broad menu with lots of different options, great bagels, and friendly service. Perfect neighborhood spot for a quick bite or a chill lunch. Will be back!

Got a salt bagel with lox schmear. The bagel, perfect untoasted. The schmear tasted like it had once heard of lox. About as flavorful as a lacroix. If you're going to charge me three bucks for Shamir make it good.
I also got a cup of coffee. The coffee was fine but the cup and lid didn't actually seal so it just leaked hot coffee all over my hand and car. If I'm in the neighborhood I might come back and get just plain bagels for takeout, because everything else they offer is deeply mid while the bagels are great

Bagels are meh. Cream cheese is a good as what you can buy in a grocery store, so also meh. I remember being disappointed last time I went there too. Not sure why I went back!

I have high bagel standards growing up with NY bagels, but Bagel Oasis gets a 8/10 for me! I went for the sourdough bagel, which was the only bagel in the case that seemed to be the right amount of fluffy. I tried an everything bagel to see if there was a difference, and it was way more dense and crunchy than I want in a bagel. The sourdough bagel was near perfect - had a crunchy bite, but fluffy interior and delicious flavored cream cheese. It was satisfying and I wasn't disappointed. I'd recommend the sourdough bagel over the other types though. Will definitely be back to have it again!

Paid 20$ for two bagels w/ cream cheese. Overpriced and hard mid bagels, no chew and tough overall

I've been going to bagel oasis for the past two years and have loved it ever since I set foot in it. If you're looking for an authentic NY bagel experience in Seattle this is the place to go! Getting a dozen and a tub or two of cream cheese is a must. Love getting a flavored schmear and taking to the park nearby too!!

We were in Seattle on vacation and found this place. Great sandwiches and nice people. Had that NY bagel taste.
Pleasant, bright interior in 1930s Ravenna neighborhood business district a mile north of University of Washington campus. Attentive, friendly counter staff. Flavorful bagels, but lox schmear didn’t have much flavor of the mix-in (garlic/dill was better) and cream cheese in both seemed like it was from the Kraft Philadelphia box. Perhaps true of many shops, but these days there are also plenty with homemade cream cheese, a step up. Chocolate malt iced latte innovative and tasty. Veggie pesto omelette was flavorful with plenty of broccoli, peppers, and other fill. All in all a decent spot, and would hit it again if in the neighborhood and hungry, but not as a destination bite.

Look. I grew up eating bagels outside of Seattle so I know what a good bagel is. Seattle doesn’t bagel very well. It’s a fact. In fact, I think Seattle might purposely try and be ruining the bagel. And that’s fine. (It’s not fine, but honestly just not in the mood right now.) So when I tell you Bagel Oasis has a good bagel, I mean it. It is without a doubt one of the best bagel shops in Seattle. They are dense, they are chewy, and they are flavorful. Everything a bagel should be. They are trying to save Seattle’s bagel reputation, and for that reason, I’m in.

Okay-ish bagels. If you like the Thomas bagels from the grocery store, you’d like these. They are soft outside and inside, flavors are typical flavors - but nothing shines through too much. Service was great though! Was in and out in less than 5 mins.
