The vibe was off when I walked in the door to what feels like an old diner with 2024 prices. The two line situation (one for here and one to go) was convoluted, the service was quick and friendly but the food is pricy for what you receive. Great tasting bagel sandwich. The restaurant had a personal small town feel as it seemed like the staff was friendly and new many of the customers. The only negative was that the coffee tasted terrible.
Disappointed that almost $8 (plus tip) gets such a light shmear. I like to shop local for bagels (epsecially ones I’ve been to since childhood) but I’m going back to Rachel’s bagels.
