This is the best Thai place in all of seattle - hands down! Tried dozens of others and so many dishes here are the best. I love the crispy garlic chicken, pineapple fried rice, curries, and ofc the Thai tea!

I've been to the normal Bai Tong many times, and have enjoyed each of my visits, so was interested to check this place out As the name suggests, it has a lot more 'street food' type dishes that you won't find at the normal place
I opted for the Basil Pork Belly over Rice, which I very much doubt is often ordered as a street food, but it seemed like a good option Firstly, the presentation on this dish was wild. It was brought out in a sizzling cast iron pan, with the pork, rice and vegetables. Then, an egg was cracked directly onto the pan, allowing it to cook while hissing with steam and crackling of oil throughout. This was really cool, and not something you see often
Unfortunately, the presentation ended up being the best part of this dish. After mixing everything together, I thought the basil flavor was pretty lacking. The egg ended up combining nicely with most of the rice, and the veggies were nice, but the pork belly was quite dry. I don't know how they managed to have pork belly be that flavorless, when it has so much inherent fat, but it wasn't enjoyable At least the spice was good. I asked for four-star, and they certainly delivered - the food was quite spicy
It was on the more expensive side, coming to about 25 for the meal. the portion size was a little smaller than i expected
Overall, it's not terrible, but the real Bai Tong is way better in my opinion. 6/10

Whenever I want to eat Thai food and feel like I’m back home in Thailand, I think of Baithong. The food is excellent, and I love the special dishes they feature each month. The hospitality is outstanding, and the drinks are delicious with a great variety. I don’t drink alcohol, but the manager is so kind and always makes a mocktail version just for me. Truly amazing!

Food was good, our main server was friendly and deserves all the tips— but we had servers kept interrupting way too many times. Also it seems like staff weren’t on the same page about who waited our tables— we had like 3 different people approach us... I get they’re making a living and trying to get their tips, but it happened like 10x and was redic after a while. I hate it when we’re in engrossed in conversation, especially with a friend I haven’t seen in forever— and then get interrupted with the same question for the 10th time a row which was asked like a minute ago—LEARN HOW TO READ THE ROOM. The restaurant wasn’t even packed at the time so there was no need for us to get kicked out…

The Thai Chive Pancakes are delicious. They did charge like 8$ for rice which isn't cheap but nothing is in Seattle. Staff was friendly and fast. Must check this spot out. The Mango sticky rice was also pretty good.

Lovely little place, with great ambiance, food and staff! Tried the pad thai and panang curry - both were super yum! Very filling portions! Have tried both delivery and dine in - portions we’re still pretty good!
Went for our friends birthday and the team went ABOVE and BEYOND! Our table was clutching our stomachs laughing, it was so fun!!! Food was great too (a little perk) 😉

Ps: pad Thai is not one of my favorite cuisine but after trying the food here my thoughts are changed due to the well balanced flavors and sweetness along with perfect spice, I’m in love with the pad Thai food 🥰 Highly recommend this restaurant.

Bai Tong has the best special cocktail drinks that are so creative and delicious. We got the Fearless, Lover and Enchanted special cocktails and they are SMOOTH. Presentation on point, if you love sweet drinks you must try this!! Also, the coconut dessert was sooooo good, really fresh fruit and the coconut ice cream was refreshing.
