the pastries were average
Pros: 1. The food and bakery items are all incredible. Make it a point to try the veggie toast and buckwheat scone with jam and butter. In fact, pretty much every bakery item is delicious. 2. Friendly service
Cons: 1. The wait to order can easily be 10-15 min and that’s only with a few people ahead of you. 2. They need to keep a window cracked or something because there’s almost no ventilation happening so you will always leave smelling like the kitchen (and that scent sticks). 3. A bit on the expensive side.

Food is good but the place is too pricey, I ordered a to-go kale soup which was very delicious. Although I was disappointed to see a small cup only half filled that to for $12.

I don’t even like lattes but I get one here everyday because it’s everything an $8 latte in a liberal city should be
So happy to call this my neighborhood coffee shop. I stop by at least once a week and the coffee (drip, cortado, or something more complex) is always great. Their baked goods are also wonderful - buckwheat biscuit and chocolate chip cookies are my favorites. One day I’ll make it to bar bake shop, but I have no doubt it’s lovely also.

Delicious food, egregiously slow service. We love the pastries and purchase their country loaf a few times a month. They desperately need to hire an additional front of house person so that the food prep doesn’t bottleneck their ability to take and complete orders. A line of 3-5 people can often take 20-30 min which can be painful as a customer. Again, we LOVE this spot but it is impossible to pop in for a quick bite with the current model

5 stars because the food and atmosphere are excellent. Beware it is very pricey for a coffee shop/bakery even for Seattle.

Pretty good bakery. I LOVE the Cardamom Butterhorns! I wish they would glaze them instead of icing them though. Good bread, good service, great schedule.
Dietary restrictions: Have vegan options, plenty of vegetarian alternatives and sometimes even gluten free stuff.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp (entrance)

Adorable café and bake shop with large windows and mellow vibes. Seasonal specials when I visited included a pistachio horchata iced latte, and a burnt honey tahini iced latte (exquisitely salty). Baked goods included a cardamom butterhorn pastry (delicious), miso chocolate chip cookie, and a ham and cheese pinwheel. I’ll definitely be back!
Note: Would also make a great place for remote work.
