We live down the road and have made this our go to late cocktail craving. The entire staff is so refreshing. They are kind immediately upon arrival, even when busy. You never feel like a pain trying to grab a drink. The cocktails are made thoughtfully and they tweak the recipes depending on the season for fresh ingredients. Feels like a real hometown, elevated, new age spot and I’m so glad we have it close by. Thanks Bar Miriam!

Bar Miriam is a special jewel on Seattle's Queen Anne hill. Creative menu, fresh ingredients and lovely presentation. Superior drinks; even custom cocktails. Lively vibe. Amazing art by well-known Boston painter, the late Chick Byrne.

To girls going on first dates - unless you can sit at the bar, this is an unsafe set up for a date. Seated at the bench along the wall, the spaces for you to exit the bench are tiny. My date being 6’2 meant that his legs blocked one of the exits & the people sitting closely next to me blocked the other. The place got really busy, and with limited staff there was a stretch of over 30min where no one checked on us. I really like this bar, but it physically kept me from being able to leave a date after telling the guy I wasn’t interested. Had to explain myself for 40min until I was finally able to get the servers attention

This place is great. Love the drinks great vibes just one question…. In the bathroom of bar Miriam about a year or two ago you guys had these homemade candles burning in the bathroom and they smelled absolutely divine I’ve been searching for something like that ever since and have yet to find it! I took a picture of them and they were in a Rodica wine bottle that had been made into a candle… I know it’s a long shot but please I must track down that candle. If you could put me in contact with whoever makes them I’d pay good money to get my hands on some!

This is such a cozy bar. Tucked away in Queen Anne, you wouldn’t know what to expect from it but the food is actually incredible and the cocktails are unique, creative and always have a theme. If you can get there close to opening to grab a seat and enjoy your stay, it’s recommended.

Our bartender (Ash) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vast selection of spirits on display
We decided to each get the lobster roll and it was... by far... the best lobster roll I've ever had
We keep coming back not for the rotating-movie-themed cocktails, not for the seasonal menu, and not for one individual employee, but because as a whole, the entire drinking/dining experience consistantly pushes the envelope on what a quality evening out should be
