We were all a bit disappointed with our Ben Paris experience this weekend. We have been in the past and it was amazing, which is why we booked to come back. Positives - our table was *mostly ready for us as soon we got there. We were a party of 5 and they sat us at a 4 person table then walked away and drug over a chair from the back room, threw down a place setting and walked away. We had to ask for enough water glasses for all of us. When the server finally arrived at our table, he was very friendly and promptly took our order. Our food arrived all at the same time (even though we had asked for some of it a head of time as an appetizer). The food also arrived before our drinks did. The food was okay but not amazing. Overall this was not the experience we were hoping for and very different from our last visit. TBD if we will be back.
This was our first time here. I decided to show up for the dinner menu and the Alaskan King salmon was perfect. My date chose some sort of fried chicken dish that she gave me a bite of and it was also delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and Overall, just had a great personality. We felt thoroughly taking care of, but not bothered. The aesthetic was very pleasing and turned out to be a great place for a date. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend.
Excellent service, wonderful cocktails and the scallop risotto was amazing! The artistic mural was fun and whimsical, with high ceilings made a lovely ambiance. Highly recommend.
I love this restaurant! I've been here twice and it was fantastic both times. Knowledgeable friendly staff, adorable decor and the food and beverages are out of this world. I want to go eat there right now.
We ate here for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was decent, but was very pricey for the average regular Thanksgiving standards. It was all you can eat, but still felt it was too pricey for the type of food. Nice cute environment.
Unfortunately, this experience was a big let down for us. We booked this lunch hoping we would be able to spend some time with good eats and drinks on Thanksgiving while everything else was closed. While the service was good, the food was an incredible disappointment. We were visiting from Vancouver and paid the equivalent of $400 CAD for two people. When I booked this reservation, there was no way to note dietary restrictions, so I made sure to check the menu prior to booking as I have a dairy allergy. The buffet menu was not listed on the website, but I figured it would be similar enough to what they offer on their daily menu. When we arrived, there were absolutely no dairy free options. The turkey was overcooked and dry, and the green beans were overcooked as well. There was only one salad option - a caesar salad (obviously with cheese). The service was good, and our server was attentive and kind, but the food was so disappointing. What a shame, we won't be returning.
Ben is a nice restaurant with solid food. I would say somewhat overpriced for the quality (mostly due to under seasoning) but they get a lot of points for knowing that Shrimp and Grits does not mean Shrimp and Cheese Grits (although a nice sauce would not go amiss). Service was friendly albeit a bit slow and it seemed like there were more people behind the bar than tending the dining room (still the slowest thing coming out was drinks). Is it worth the experience? Yes! But think more upscale casual dining than gourmet. :)
Slow service before a Sunday night show at Benaroya. Make reservations at least 2 hours before your next commitment, especially if any events are happening in the area.
Really nice brunch spot, and the food was excellent. We tried the breakfast sandwich, baked egg, and cinnamon roll. All were great!
The Ben Paris Breakfast is my go-to morning meal when I have lots of morni g errands to run and ned energy from an old-fashioned breakfast. The divinely crisped bacon is the best! One minor disappointment is how the fruit& granola yogurt has shrank to a mere dollop but there is no crimping on the fruit. I'd say the meal is about $3 overpriced.

we had a great time! staff was super accommodating and kind! the food was delicious and the ambiance was amazing. thank you!!
Tough nite for the staff with only a bartender, waitress and bus boy on for the dinner service.
Food was excellent. However, we had a 6:30 reservation for 6 people. Didn't get seated until 7 pm. Food took another hour before it came out. No apologies or anything from the manager or staff about the delays all evening. Not what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
We had a lovely dinner at Ben Paris! The food was outstanding and the service was stellar. The staff were so friendly and made our evening a joyful one. We will definitely be back!
Great time and ambience. Little loud with the baseball playoffs on the television and the Mariners and Blue Jays going at it (it was tied at 2-2 the night we ate in our hotel). Overall, the food was very good and the service with top notch. They had just changed the menu and so the pork was slightly over done. But the rest of the meal was excellent. We were with our good friends and so the evening just flew by. Shout out to Jacob for taking care of us that night!
