This is one of the best brunches I have had in Seattle. The menu is absolutely amazing and everything looked so good. We had the avocado toast, salmon omelet, two eggs, and the breakfast sandwich and they were all 10/10. The iced oat milk cinnamon latte was also stellar. The cocktail menu is fire.

Excellent service, excellent food, great location near the Pike market. This is a great place for breakfast. We tried everything from the pancakes with ricotta cheese, avocado on toast with eggs, Ben Paris breakfast plate, bagel with salmon locks, carnita bowl with pork, avocado, quinoa, kale and eggs and the cinnamon roll with cream cheese sauce. We enjoyed the mimosas (both the alcoholic and the non-alcoholic). Great place to hango out too!

Ben Paris used to be a regular lunch stop for me for the past year. I work nearby and would go with my coworkers. Despite being very overpriced I did enjoy the food and have been telling my girlfriend for months that we need to go together. Since they do weekday brunch, we were waiting for a weekday that we didn't work so we could go and enjoy brunch while avoiding the lines of a typical brunch outing on a weekend. That day finally came and I went there with my girlfriend and her two cousins. My girlfriends asked for a table for four and the server immediately told her it is reservation only. It was even more empty than usual with over half the tables open. I was in the doorway at the time and overheard this.I stepped up to ask the server what changed, as I have eaten here many times for lunch on a weekday, without reservation. So unless something changed, he was clearly lying to my girlfriend.A brief flicker of panicked recognition flashed in his eyes as he had already served me twice in the past few weeks, the most recent time being only 5 days before this occurrence. He then proceeded to tell me how they get very busy on weekends and we need to check in on reservations. It was a Wednesday. My girlfriend was very hurt and confused. We cannot understand or think of any reason why. The only thing I can think of at this point is they did not like the color of our skin.I truly do not know why they turned us away; I always tipped well and have never had a problem getting seated on a weekday with similar party sizes with my coworkers. After this experience I will certainly not be returning here.

I’d visit this place more frequently if it weren’t in Downtown. This is probably one of my favorite brunch spots now. It can be a bit pricey but everything we had was gooood!Ben Paris Breakfast ($23) - Was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I liked how it came with a parfait.Baked Eggs + Avocado ($24) - Waiter said this was her favorite so I took her suggestion and added avocado. Did not disappoint at all!Parmesan Truffle Fries ($12) - I’d get this every single visit. No exceptions.

Went to have dinner with a girlfriend and we both really enjoyed dinner at this place. The food was so delicious, best dinner i’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was nice inside, our server was nice and attentive. No complaints, can’t wait to try their brunch!

I initially wrote the email below on 2/26/2024. It has been over a month and because the restaurant chose not respond, even to just acknowledge receipt of it, I have decided to leave it for a public review. A simple "Thank you for your feedback" would have sufficed but as a Director of Customer Experience, I find it distasteful.Dear Management,I am writing to express my thoughts regarding the dining experience my husband and I had on Valentine's Day at your restaurant. Our initial encounter with Ben Paris in 2020 left an indelible impression of excellence. Since then, I have had the pleasure of introducing various groups of friends to your establishment, and my husband and I have enjoyed several delightful date nights, consistently encountering outstanding food and service. However, our visit on February 14th, 2024, proved to be distinctly different. Our server, Sabrina, initially greeted us with what appeared to be a charming and quirky demeanor. Regrettably, this energy quickly dissolved when she inquired about our dietary preferences and allergies. Upon my husband's disclosure of a Blue Cheese allergy and my own preference against it, Sabrina's response was marked by skepticism, leading to an unnecessary exchange. She questioned him “Is it truly an allergy … or a preference?” He reiterated he is indeed allergic and I just do not care for it. Sabrina reacted with undue defensiveness when my husband innocently inquired about the possibility of a "Chicago-style" preparation for his steak. Furthermore, our wine pairing experience was marred by delays and an apparent lack of attention, culminating in a passive-aggressive remark regarding staffing challenges. “Thank you for your patience with only one bartender for the entire restaurant tonight.” It was at that moment that the table next to us remarked that their drink service had also been slow and their pairings were also coming out after the courses were finished - so they did not receive the ”pairing” experience. The evening took a particularly unpleasant turn when my husband discovered two long strands of hair within his meal. Rather than addressing this issue with empathy and professionalism, Sabrina's response was dismissive and even bordered on disdain. This was compounded by her assumption that we desired a complimentary meal, which was not the case. She whisked the plate away and returned shortly after stating “I’m so happy you were able to enjoy a free meal today.” I found that comment incredibly strange because why would you imply that there was anything enjoyable about having a strangers hair in your food? When the bill was received, we inquired about what deduction was made and while speaking, she kept repeating her words and starting over, as if she was trying to remain calm. She then said she took $45 off which is the equivalent of the entrée “because you didn’t like your meal even though you ate the majority of it.” At that point, my husband clarified that he never asked for the meal to be taken off the bill and that he never said he did not like it. He in fact, was enjoying it, he just wanted the plate taken away as it was unappetizing. She then said “I apologize I did not hear you correctly, I did not hear you say there was hair in your food. I missed that part, I apologize that I did not hear you say that. I now understand why you did not want the meal.” My husband stated he wanted to pay the bill and Sabrina snatched it and insisted on taking care of the entire check. She stated “no gratuity will be expected either, have a good night.” And stormed away.Throughout the evening, Sabrina's behavior oscillated between robotic and confrontational, leaving us feeling deeply uncomfortable. Even as we prepared to depart, her parting remarks only served to accentuate the disconcerting nature of the entire encounter. “I’m so happy you were able to enjoy a meal on the house today.”

The place feels nice and renovated, the staff is super nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we found the food to be somewhat too oily (e.g. the ricotta pancakes and the sandwiches) and underwhelming. The salmon beet bagel was very good instead. Coffee was also good. The noise level is somewhat high but bearable. I'd still come back for the vibe and proximity to other Seattle attractions.

So we were out downtown and decided to stop by for happy hour. I thought it would be good because of the stars ⭐️ on the reviews. But the service was absolutely awful! The worst! The bartender had a really bad attitude. Maybe a bad day? Or maybe he thinks he is actually working at a bar in LA or Miami. Not a good experience and would not recommend it. Their happy hour menu is super limited anyways. Definitely nothing to do with Paris at all.

I went here for brunch and had the pancakes and burger. The pancakes were delicious and beautifully plated. The burger I would say is just okay. It was good but nothing special. The service was amazing. Everyone was so kind. The atmosphere was really busy but the dining ambiance is still very nice. I think this is a great casual or dressy place for a nice brunch. Good atmosphere and good food. The vibes were nice.

Our food was delicious and hot. The vibes were chill but upscale and very nice. We shared a few dishes and they were all delicious but nothing spectacular. Parking was difficult but to be expected for the location.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. We were seated and then waited for almost an hour, only to be served average food at best. My bread in particular was so hard I feared it would break my teeth. I hope the kitchen was just having an off day since other reviews seem more positive.
