Having been a steady customer at their Madison Street location since their opening I'm done with inconsistent pricing and slow service. 5 days a week I've stopped in and ordered the same drink nearly every time. 16 oz. iced mocha , one squeeze chocolate, two shots of vanilla. The only variation is sometimes I order a hot mocha. How much my drink costs depends on what day it is maybe. Don't know. One day it's $7.16 another it might be $7.64 unless Vinny's mother is working then it's over $8. Today was the last straw, Vinny. One person waiting for their order to be completed (sandwich and drink) and a couple in front of me. That's it. 15 minutes later everyone else had their order completed but I still did not have my drink although your barista put up a hot mocha and was busy making someone else's drink that were ordered well after mine. I'm done, Vinny. I will take my business and money elsewhere.

I loved being at Bequest Coffee! The sandwiches are amazing, the coffee too — everything was so delicious, and the service was excellent. I can’t wait to go back!

Tried them twice coconut latte was too milky barely tasted any of the coffee or the coconut. The barista with the glasses and curly hair is very sweet and attentive the other one that works with them with the short cut hair was very rude when taking my order.

This place is awful. Coffee is watery and tastes like the baristas have never made coffee before, VERY slow. All food tastes like it was just thawed out of a plastic freezed bag. My 3rd time coming here bc it’s next to my apartment and it’s the same each time. Save your time and money please.

Great açaí, burnt paninis, terrible at time management - they'll leave orders in unconfirmed state for minutes, or they'll have my dasher get there but wait for 20 (!) minutes while they complete the order, which is like a single açaí bowl or sometimes a (burnt) panini.

Y'all, I'd rather you be accurately slow than lie. When your ETA says 18-24 minutes, I shouldn't, 10 out of 10 times, receive my order after 45-50 minutes. It's better to be honest and slow than dishonest and late.

Bequest reminds me of myself: talented but somewhat of a mess, lacks executive functioning skills, and has zero regard for others' time.

Coming back, y'all got me as a customer and I haven't even tasted the food. I just had a bad experience with the customer service and wasn't able to place an order at Yeboa right on the corner, so when I came in, I was relieved to be met with such nice people and quick service.

This place also has a nice multicultural vibe, with the Spanish music, glad I came. Very clean and nice.

This is my neighborhood coffee shop and they are always friendly and make great lattes. Their sandwiches are delicious, too. I also enjoy studying here as they have plenty of seating and the music is not too loud. Thank you all! 🩷

Usually I go in for their sandwiches which are really good because their drinks always seem to fall short. Today I decided to try again and get one of their special drinks ‘the blue fog’ and try their lemon cake. The cake was dry! Unfortunately they did not have earl grey tea…so I stuck with English breakfast as a substitute.
The drink was horrible! It was straight milk and lavender only. This place could be very good if the baristas were trained more on making drinks properly.

This place is run by DISHONEST PEOPLE and I’m over it. I’ve been to Bequest twice and both times, the owner was so incredibly rude to her staff and to patrons, I could never figure out how they got good reviews, but now I know. Look at their reviews here or Google, and also for their new “cleaning business” Four Corners Cleaning WA - more than half are from people reviewing are not even in this country. Almost ALL of the ones for the cleaning business aren’t. They are in BRAZIL - not surprisingly, where the owners are from, some even sharing the same last name...OBVIOUSLY friends and family who have been asked to give false reviews. You’ll find the same names reviewing both business. What are the chances? They have fake conversations with each other online “recommending” this businesses acting like strangers, the husband posts fake reviews in local FB pages pretending to be a patron, they use multiple FB accounts to like and promote mentions of their businesses in local threads. It’s predatory and scammy and SHAME ON THEM. Don’t deny it- I can come back with receipts. What could have been a welcome addition to Mill Creek Town Center turned out to just prey on the community instead.

Not only do I not understand why the employee was so grumpy, but they also forgot my order.
