Had a decent cocktail, steak frites and wine, but was surprised by a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. How else are you meant to pay? Credit card fees are a basic cost of business and should be included in the (already high) prices. I don't recall any other restaurants with such a fee. Disappointed. I live close by but this greedy fee left s bad taste and I'm not keen to return.

I was amazed by the large portion and delicious meat. We had the lamb shank and corned beef with corn bread. They melted in my mouth!

My husband and I had celebrated our anniversary a week ago and Dee and Shaq were amazing with their customer service and recommendations. They really made our day. Thanks! My husband loved his steak as well.

Perfect food, perfect atmosphere, perfect service. Everything was wonderful! We were thrilled to find fresh Shigoku oysters on the menu, and the spinach salad, steak frites, and mushroom pesto pasta were delicious. Naturally, the PB chocolate cake was a winner, too. The chef, staff, and owners know what they're doing and they've created a friendly and welcoming space to enjoy their craft. Can't wait to return!

I can always count on Betty when delicious food, in a relaxed setting with attentive and friendly service is what the doctor ordered. I had dinner with a friend and we slowly worked our way through various shared dishes. Nate couldn't have been friendlier and more accomodating.

We had a good time at Betty. The owner, Angie, talked with us for a long time. We had a great experience.

We were really excited about this place based on their reviews. We ordered their most popular dishes, the roast chicken and the lasagna. It was just ok. I'm not sure it was worth $150 for 3 people (1 cocktail ). Service was great but sadly we won't be back.

Betty is our beloved go-to neighborhood spot because of the great service and varied and delicious choices on the menu. The chicken is THE BEST. The fries are delectable (don't I wish they weren't!).

It's rare to go to a spot once or twice a year and have it be the same as it ever was, in a good way. Prolly the best burger in Upper Queen Anne and it might not be close. Good wine pours, fun vibe, would do again.

Always an interesting take on soups and salads. Not a large menu but mains are consistently good. Restaurant has friendly vibe--diners often smile at each other or share comments about the food.

Fantastic meal and service. We had a reservation for our group of 6 on a busy Friday evening. Lots of locals from the neighborhood dining. The baguette with butter and oil was so good - warm and crunchy crust and freshest butter. Winter Waltz rye cocktail was excellent. Great salad with squash and the fish was cooked to perfection. Great spot for an evening with friends. Friendly service.

Overall we had a lovely time at Betty. Our server, Sadie was very attentive and helpful. She guided us in our selections. We had cocktails which were lovely and added French fries which were amazing. The lasagna was delicious, too. The table was a bit chilly, but it was a cold night and they do have a curtain near the door to minimize drafts, which I appreciated. We definitely will be back!

I always look for that local neighborhood place that everyone wants to go to. This place has it! Everything about it was perfect. I will go again and again. It is multigenerational. It's multiethnic. And the ambiance, service and food is comfortable and good.

My husband and I took our 8-yr-old granddaughter to an early dinner the other night. Everything was wonderful. His sea bass entree was as beautiful as it was delicious. I ordered the Crow Lasagna and a kale salad, while the little ordered split pea soup and french fries. As expected, she ate most of my lasagna, and it'll become a staple on our take-away menus again, as it was during the pandemic. Service was spot on and our server was great with our granddaughter. The only (mild) disappointment was the blah by-the-glass list. I had the Sangiovese and he has the Monastrell. Both were one-dimensional and uninteresting. We'll likely bring a bottle in next time, or order cocktails instead.
