What a perfect find! We wandered into Bistro Shirlee with our two dogs - they were so hospitable in seating us on the patio and serving us the BEST meal we have had in Seattle this year. Do not miss the gazpacho! We will be coming back (many times) and bringing our loved ones. Thank you to the team at Bistro Shirlee!
Incredible food and service!
Their Outdoor space was fully enclosed, making me very nervous. They need to open up one side to increase the airflow and make it safer.
Bistro Shirlee has adapted extremely well to the challenges of COVID, from making a pared-down menu even better than the original - we had the French Onion soup (1 each) and shared the mushroom crepe and radicchio salad. We finished it all off with the creme brulee - all was excellent. As usual the cocktail and wine selections are refined and very good. The Calvados Old Fashioned was delicious. The outdoor seating was comfortable on a chilly night due to heaters and breeze-mitigating panels so that we were quite comfortable from a temp and safety perspective. The wait staff was attentive and thoughtful. The information given to guide and inform us on mask protocal was the best we've heard - thoughtful and considerate. We'll be back soon!
Renee Erickson never fails. Fantastic vibe and food with a great service. Has great outdoor option with coverings and heat for winter and rain. Will be back again and again.
i love visiting here. certainly worth a return trip. reminds me of a place in new york i liked to visit.
The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent as well. We sat outside and it was lovely, the heater works really well! Thank you for a fab evening, it's been a while.
Covid safe, great outdoor ambiance. Service was attentive and quick. Chicken liver pate and pickles were a standout, but rest of the food wasn't quite worth the price. Wine and cocktails were great, so I'd recommend as a safe place to meet up for drinks and appetizers.
the service was very kind and attentive. prices that are reasonable. makes me feel like i am back in sacramento.
They have a nice back deck and the cocktails are delicious. The menu was very limited. It felt like everything was an appetizer and no main dishes. Perhaps due to COVID but I will likely wait to return until they have entree items back on the menu.
Restaurantji Recommends
Staff: extremely professional and customer service oriented.Food: Great presentation, delicious but just be aware that portions are european sized so much smaller than typical American restaurantsDrinks: A+++Ambiance: we were seated in the upper outdoor deck which is beautiful. Not to mention the cozy fireplace to add to the views.

The food had a strong French influence but the chef felt free to indulge in other styles of seasonings and types of palate nuances. All the food, salad, bread, entry, dessert was of very high quality, not just one outstanding dish.
Feels like a place in Los Angeles I liked.
Cute little french bistro beside BGT trail. Me and my husband walked in one afternoon for brunch and enjoyed brunch menu served. My hubby loved his duck confit, and I got veggie version of eggs benedict for myself with a radicchio salad. For us the ambience and freshness of the food elevated the experience .
