What a perfect find! We wandered into Bistro Shirlee with our two dogs - they were so hospitable in seating us on the patio and serving us the BEST meal we have had in Seattle this year. Bistro Shirlee has adapted extremely well to the challenges of COVID, from making a pared-down menu even better than the original - we had the French Onion soup (1 each) and shared the mushroom crepe and radicchio salad. We finished it all off with the creme brulee - all was excellent. As usual the cocktail and wine selections are refined and very good. The Calvados Old Fashioned was delicious. The outdoor seating was comfortable on a chilly night due to heaters and breeze-mitigating...
Covid safe, great outdoor ambiance. Service was attentive and quick. Chicken liver pate and pickles were a standout, but rest of the food wasn't quite worth the price. Wine and cocktails were great, so I'd recommend as a safe place to meet up for drinks and appetizers.
