Black Bottle Gastrotavern is a hidden gem known for its great menu and vibe. The small plates are tasty and varied, featuring favorites like flatbreads, fried chicken, fish with cheese, and delicious *lamb meatballs* from the mezza plate, which are savory and well-spiced. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool, making it suitable for a team dinner or a night out with friends. The cocktail lineup is solid, with highlights like the refreshing *Amalfi Spritz* and inventive alcoholic cocktails, though non-alcoholic options like the Phony Negroni may be a bit unbalanced. Desserts are a real treat, with options like *Maker's Mark bourbon bread pudding* and *lemon curd cheesecake with lavender crust*, both praised for their rich flavors. Quick and attentive service enhances the experience, although prices are a bit high. While food and environment are great, those with fodmap diet restrictions may find challenges due to the prevalence of garlic and onion in many dishes. Overall, the quality and portion sizes make it worth a special night out.
