Fabulous food, and service. Service is notable. Unlike the miserable Bellevue downtown location

Before I always eat boiling point in Seattle and tukwilla until November 2 2026. I ate there with my friends and the service wasn’t happy with us ordering too much at once, when I order Togo Taiwanese it a big pot that they always put meat in a separate box when I get the Togo I always thought the meat is in there until I get home I found out there no Meats at all!! I PAID money for hot pot with MEATS not for a hot pot without MEATS!!! Head up for whoever order to go boiling point make sure u check there meats inside or your money paid for vegetables!!!

If you want Pho goto pho bac in Chinatown. If you want hot pot go here. It’s the best hot pot in the city. And the spice levels are all great. It’s truly authentic hot pot.

I saw the comments about the rude server, and I agree with that because I also experienced the same thing.

READ THIS!!! SUPER DISRESPECTFUL LIKE WHAT?!!!

There was this one lady who talked to us in such a rude tone. She cut me off during my sentence and didn’t answer me when I asked to clarify. Her tone made us feel rushed. Like girl, who gave you the right to disrespect us without any valid reason? WE DID NOTHING TO YOU!

HERE’S THE WORST PART! They vouched our parking ticket incorrectly which resulted in us having to pay for parking ($39 DOLLARS!!!) even though we shouldn’t. We came back into the restaurant to resolve the issue. The first two employees were trying to help but here comes the rude lady who jumped in and told us it’s not their responsibility. She then made a hand gesture that looked like she was saying “y’all are wasting my time”. Girl, we were just trying to get help because Y’ALL caused this issue!!! I wouldn’t blame her if we were talking rudely, but we were just confused and trying to get our money back.

If you guys come here to eat, I hope y’all don’t run into any issues where you have to talk to the employees because they WILL BE RUDE for absolutely NO REASON! I also saw other reviews where they talked about a rude lady, which I’m not surprised.

If you’re the rude lady and you’re reading this, I hope you change your attitude because you WILL run into someone who wouldn’t let your rudeness and disrespectfulness slide like we did. You’re lucky that we left because we didn’t want to make a scene. You are an employee who NEEDS to treat customers with respect!

i’ve been to other boiling point locations and usually enjoy the food and service, but this visit was disappointing. our server had a lot of attitude during our whole visit. it was during lunch time and barely anyone there..

after each person ordered, she would say “ok NEXT” in a very dismissive and cold tone. it made the whole table feel rushed and unwelcome.

she also never checked on us during the meal, which added to the sense that customer service wasn’t a priority here.

the broth, which is usually my favorite part, didn’t taste as good as i’ve had at other locations — it felt a bit watered down and lacked flavor.

overall, the food was okay, but the attitude and lack of basic service really took away from the experience. probably won’t be coming back to this location.

Boiling Point Chinatown is always such a fun and comforting spot for hot pot lovers. The individual hot pots are full of fresh ingredients and rich flavor. I love that you can customize the spice level and still get a perfectly balanced broth. The meat is sliced thin and cooks quickly at the table, and the veggies and tofu soak up all the broth so well.
The portions are generous and it is great for sharing with friends since everyone can pick their own pot and sides. The atmosphere is lively and casual, perfect for a cozy meal on a chilly day. Service was quick and efficient and our food came out steaming hot.
Highly recommend if you want a satisfying and hands on dining experience in the heart of Chinatown.

I tried the new Hot Green pot at Boiling Point in Seattle, and it was excellent—light but packed with flavor, with just the right amount of heat that builds as you eat. The ingredients tasted fresh and came together really well in the broth, making it both comforting and satisfying. The vibe in the restaurant is lively yet relaxed, and the service is friendly without being overbearing, which makes the whole experience even better. As of right now they are running promo for a free appetizer and drink with a purchase of a pot(details located on Instagram). GO GET BP ASAP!!!! 😋

The good:

Good portion sizes, food was decent, and the prices are somewhat fair.

The bad:

This place is severely understaffed. Everything from the wait times to the service was chaotic despite the staff members working their hardest to get to everyone. It is honestly just stressful eating in there. We queued 45 minutes just to be seated off peak (8:20PM - 9:00PM).

They also somehow added a 18% tip without asking. This is just unacceptable. Tipping is fine, just not without consent or prior acknowledgements by the guest.

The staff is so rude, they even shake their heads to show their attitude right in front of you .
