The soup is still good. I tried the new rice topping of pork but the original egg is still the best. My go to order is the house special cause it has stinky tofu. Go during lunch time for free tea and sign up for the rewards program to get discounts.
Edit: for some reason, the rewards program has not been working as it has before. My purchases are not being added to my account therefore I’ve been unable to accrue the points. I am not sure if this is a staff issue or a system issue but please address this. I love going there and I want to continue doing so

No updates about the new schedule change. Pissed me off I was already so irritated and wanted to eat. They are closed for three hours from 2:30-5pm now every day.
I had dinner with my friend today and it was great. At first we were not sure if it was too crowded. Then, a few of my friends came. A waiter would not let us sit together and asked us to sit at another table even though there were tables next to us that could be joined together. My friend felt that the waiter had a bad attitude. This gave me a very bad experience. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant. Sometimes when we go in the evening, even if it is not closing time, we are told that we can only order takeout or they are not accepting customers.

One of many Boiling Points in the area doesn’t disappoint. Really good portion size and their system keeps your food hot! Super good flavors. I always leave satisfied.

Normally boiling point staff are very kind and courteous. We arrived around 8, which is close to closing time, and staff said they were doing final call by 8:30. Given the tables were mostly full and some tables ahead of us, we understood and were happy to wait and see if they would still seat us. However, the staff member in front of us clearly were not willing to sit anymore people.
Tables were seated in front of us (perfectly fine), but tables were open and was not willing to sit our party of five nor other tables that were present. Clearly there was uncertainty, so we kindly asked for some clarification as to why we couldn’t sit at the open table. The staff member replied “well we need to let tables in front sit and we can’t sit them there.” Yet the tables that had been called were not present and a couple of tables were ready to be seated. We asked again, and the staff member deflected again with the same reply. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but what got me frustrated was the staff member we interacted with WAS LAUGHING while we were confused and hungry ready for food. They replied to us, then laughed when we would turn around deciding what we would do. The impression we got was that they were pulling antics in order to close up on time or early. This felt very unfair and disrespectful and we won’t be coming back for a while to this location. However most other boiling points are excellent so I definitely recommend boiling point as a food! Just not this location 👎

The food here is delicious!! I've tried the Beef and Miso one and I love them both! The dipping sauces are to die for, SO good 😍 Meal also comes with green or black tea and choice of rice or vermicelli! Waiters are attentive and nice. Def a nice, chill place to dine solo too! Will be back!

Boiling Point is a decent option if you're a fan of Taiwanese-style hot pot, known for its rich flavors and convenient individual servings. The menu offers a good variety, from beef hot pot to kimchi and spicy Sichuan options, each served neatly with a full set of toppings. In terms of taste, the food is well-seasoned, the broth is flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh—generally satisfying for most palates. Pricing is fairly reasonable—not exactly cheap, but acceptable for the quality offered.
However, the biggest downside is the wait time. Guests often need to take a number and wait quite a while, especially during peak hours. It's common to wait 20 to 40 minutes just to get seated, and even after that, service can be slow. The staff aren’t unfriendly, but they seem overwhelmed, which leads to delayed responses and slower order handling.
Overall, Boiling Point is a solid choice if you're not in a rush and want to enjoy a flavorful individual hot pot in a relatively comfortable setting—just be prepared to wait a bit longer than usual.

Boiling Point is a franchise I enjoy, but I’ve noticed that both the food and service quality can really vary by location. Cleanliness is one area that needs more attention. The food itself is quite good.

I’ve visited both the China location and the Southcenter Mall branch. The food and presentation were great at both, and I truly appreciated when staff kindly offered more soup. That was thoughtful!
However, today was a bit disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff at the China location seemed unwelcoming. During the ordering process, and especially when I asked to check the fire on the dish, the response felt dismissive.
As the first customers of the day, we were surprised that the alcohol flame was already weak. I highly recommend checking the flame or alcohol before serving, it helps avoid unnecessary dish changes and ensures a smoother experience.
Thank you for reading. I’d truly appreciate it if this feedback could be taken into consideration!

I ordered the house special hot pot and really enjoyed the tofu and meat inside alongside the vermicelli noodles. The wintermelon lemon juice drink was watery and I liked the Lu Wei. They provided a complimentary konjac jelly at the end and offer a generous active military discount for 20%.

I highly recommend getting there before 1 pm. I got there right at lunch time, which was noon, so no wait at all. However, shortly after it did get busy and the waiters were rushing and moving around a lot. I had three different waiters and all of them were very attentive. They made sure my flame didn’t go out. They also provided some jelly after my meal!
