Bok a Bok Chicken - Capitol Hill

This place is AWESOME for a grab and go meal. This is my go to when I’m going out, hanging out with friends at Stoup (which will be delivered there for free), or needing a quick dinner fix after a long day. The staff is friendly, you can’t go wrong with what you order, it’s all amazing. I love the variety of sauces you can choose from, the prices are decent for Seattle, and I’m always satisfied with my meal.
The location is a pick up window on a sidewalk, not ideal for an on location sit-down meal, but well worth trying.

We were visiting from Georgia and South Carolina and we love going to DDD restaurants. After paying Uber to take us to the old location and having to pay more to make it to the open location($90)we found the place fenced off due to a rave party. What would possess you to allow your restaurant to be blocked off from public access!!! Very pissed off!

I used to order from the UW location before
It closed. The family loves the chicken strips here, so occasionally we still go to Cap Hill to get them. The ranch is AMAZING. Parking is a pain, but I expected that.

I miss the U District location a LOT, but I go down here whenever I can!

As a UW student with allergies that are hard to cater for (egg and peanut), Bok a Bok has served me time and time again. It's become my go-to spot for takeout! I was bummed when the U District location closed, but the chicken is still worth the journey to Cap Hill. Love you guys ❤️

Ordered twice and had the same issue - hard fries and wings (deep fryed for too long?). Failed to finish both times.

To whoever is frying the chicken during dinner time on 2/20/2025, this is the best tasting fried chicken sandwich I have ever had!

I have been getting my fried chicken sandwich from here for about 3 years at this point, it has always been good, but whatever you are doing this time makes it exceptional.

It was so tender inside and super crispy on the outside. Even with all the sauce on top it didn’t loose its crisp after a 30 minutes delivery trip.

Please keep making it this way. Compliments to the chef!

This was a tough one for me. Specifically looked up diners drive ins and dives spots for my trip to Seattle. Was looking for a spot to warm up and grab a sandwich and thought this would be it.

Unfortunately it's a walk up takeout window now (theres lots of pictures still showing the sit down restaurant so it was a surprise.)

The staff was friendly, took our oder efficiently and our food was ready pretty quick. We ordered 3 firecracker sandwiches, which had an awesome sweet spiciness that slowly built up.

Eating them outside in the cold near some trash cans was less than optimal. Maybe if you know what you're going into that's fine but from out of town and basing on what's shown on Google maps it was a surprise. The area itself is pretty dirty as well, literally had a man poop on the sidewalk in front of us one block away.

Very hard batter for both fries and chicken almost made me believe they are a day old. Would not recommend if you want fresh chicken
