Trini po boy was impeccable, husband got the West Indies sandwich and that was just as good. Loved how slightly burnt, flakey, and crispy the crust of the bread was.
Good value considering just half the sandwich is more than enough.

Sooooooo good. I’ve gotten their food so many times, dining in, to go, delivered, and every time I’ve been happy. + great serving size!! I love this place.

This was hands down one of the best “finds” we’ve had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The restrooms were spotless and fully stocked (always a good sign), and there are several seating options. We chose the covered, enclosed patio area, which had such a great vibe. The music brought the Caribbean energy to life — upbeat and fun — and just loud enough to fade Aurora into the background.
We ordered the Bucco Plate and the West Indies Plate, and wow… both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly — juicy, tender, and not overdone (which is rare and so appreciated). The sides were not afterthoughts either. The black beans, white rice, slaw, and maduros were all flavorful and held their own. Nothing felt like filler; every bite felt intentional.
And then… the banana cheesecake. We shared a slice topped with rich butterscotch sauce, and it was the perfect sweet finish. Creamy, decadent, and worth saving room for.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit. What a gem! 🌴✨

The shrimp po boy was light on shrimp, I counted 8 in my sandwich. It tasted good but I think for $16 I would at least have a shrimp in every bite

I've been here 5-10 times now, one of my staples in Seattle. Have yet to try anything that wasn't phenomenal
They added desserts somewhat recently. This place has become a real danger to my health

One of the only places in Seattle whose prices haven’t really changed in five years.

The desi sandwich is delicious and the rum cake is tasty.
Wow, I see what all the hype is about! We’ve been living in this part of town for about six months and I consistently hear praise for this place, plus, the often full parking lot speaks for itself. There was also a decently long line for dine-in on a Tuesday at 6pm or so, when we went.
The food is really good. But it’s the value that will keep me coming back. The Desi Plate, for example, which as of January 2026 is $14, is enough for 2-3 meals, in my opinion. Or an extremely hungry person, I guess, but there’s no way I could finish that bowl, which must weigh a pound, in one go. My husband’s comment on this dish was: “I keep scooping down, expecting rice, and instead it’s just MORE pork!” The pork was juicy and tender, and we really liked the accompaniments, especially the mango slaw and pickled peppers. We also enjoyed the tostones and the Trini po’boy.
The place is also huge and would be great for a larger group dinner, which is rare in this part of town. The new fully enclosed and heated patio is very nice.
I also was intrigued by the extensive pastry case here, and can’t wait to come back soon to try some. They have so many great Caribbean sweets in addition to American dessert staples, both of which I look forward to trying.

Good food! Nice variety of different foods. Good prices. Excellent desserts. Fun place. I highly recommend Chef Dans Loco Moco and the 1AM sandwich. Two thumbs up! :)

Great food but I'm done with places that make it hard to not tip on takeout. There isn't even service for eating-in, but the payment screen is set with tips for a regular restaurant. Been coming here for many years but no more, unless I hear this has changed.

Edit: i have been eating at this place for years and its quality of food has significantly declined. Do not get the Bucco chicken, it had become chewy-rubbery and spice-less. Please, I hope it improves and I keep the stars for shrimp po’boy
