We had the Bucco Chicken plate, Trini fried chicken plate and Yuco cheese bites. Really good food. Will be back soon to try the other dishes.

Excellent food, great portion sizes and the best prices anywhere around Geeenlake. I left there fullfilled, from both a culinary and financial perspective.

This may be one of my favorite spots in the United States. I ordered a few different plates to extend my experience, and everything was a hit. The amount of food included in each plate was so abundant that my friends and I had to take two plates back home, and what was pleasantly surprising was that the plates tasted even better the next day with a little bit of heating up in the microwave. For the price they listed, it's a truly economical option and a neighborhood gem.

Honestly I enjoyed the mango slaw, the beans, and the garlic rice very much. The mango slaw wasn't too watery or had too much mayo, and the mango bits provided extra depth in its flavor profile. The rice and beans were very well seasoned and I could really just eat it by itself without the meat. Of course, though, the meat was the star. Some types were spicier than others, but it was amazing to find out that the spiciness they had was the flavorful kind of spiciness, if that makes sense. Every type of meat was tender, from the braised pork to the jerk spiced chicken to the jerk pork chop and more, and had distinct flavors so that each dish offered a unique culinary experience. Like I said just then, I could've just eaten the rice and beans alone, but I would like to emphasize that having the meat definitely elevated the dishes.

In addition to such, I had a mimosa as well which tasted pretty normal, and a tres leches cake, which wasn't the best I have had anywhere but definitely solid. It was given in a box and when I took it out of the box, I could see the liquidy milky content at the bottom of the box, which was a good sign.

In a city that has so many pricey food options, this establishment stands out because of how they offered a large portion for a very reasonable price, along with how tasty the food was. There are still so many dishes on the menu under plates, bowls, and even sandwiches, that I honestly see myself coming back multiple times in the future, if not everytime that I'm in Seattle. Shoutout to my friend who introduced me to this spot!

Bongos has been on my go-to list for a while and it did not disappoint! The food and dessert were delicious; I would definitely try their drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) when I go back. They have a fully covered “outdoor” seating area which is perfect in seattle weather.

The drinks, food, and staff here are amazing. You really get great value for what you pay. The guava cheesecake was incredible, the jerk chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the tostones and yucca were perfectly crisp. They paired perfectly with the aioli. The drinks were delicious and beautifully presented.

My only issue was that while sitting on the outdoor portion, I saw not one but three mice running around. It definitely took away from an otherwise great experience.

Please update your website to say you are closed. I heard so much about your restaurant and drove 1.5 hour today to come and to learned from door paper signs that you are closed due to construction. Thank you

I'm a Hispanic person from a region where our food is very tropical, and this is hands down one of the best places. I'm telling you, this is good! I’m as Hispanic as you can get. I wasn't born in the U.S., so I know my spices 💃🏽
