The only bad thing is that it's tiny and crowded. If that's your jam then this is definitely the place for you!
Parking: Lot is in the back but plenty of free street parking.
Kid-friendliness: If your kid is 21!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes but like I said tiny and crowded.

I sat there for almost 20 minutes without being acknowledged or helped before finally leaving, with only 3 people patrons there. I'm not sure what I did to deserve that.

i’ve had a lot of really good times at this bar but had to stop going because it started to feel less and less safe there. the last 3 or 4 times we went there we were harassed by other patrons inside and people outside while we were smoking. it really sucks because i loved coming here so much but i don’t want to risk my own or my friends personal safety. last time we were there one of the other patrons SA’d my friend and we had to get the heck out of there.
again really loved this place, i’ve never had a negative experience with any of the bartenders and i’m so sorry to see that other people have. one of the karaoke DJs, a blonde woman, was not very kind and would only play your song if you tipped her extra. otherwise you’d get skipped. that was around the time i stopped coming to karaoke nights and from there was popping in randomly, until the ^ instances above with patrons being unsafe started occurring.
if you decide to go make sure you stay vigilant.

This bar has been many things over the years. Sadly it's lost it's touch. This was one of the top places to go for karaoke when it was the country store. Now it's chaos and bad speakers.

I love singing and it's also my way to decompress after work, the bartenders are awesome and the karaoke hosts are gods, and the food is fantastic for the scene
Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one floor and accommodating

Cool little place, was absolutely packed when we went. My only issue was the volume of the music. We couldn't hear each other from 1 foot away. Ironically there wasn't enough volume directed at the stage when singing. I had to sing louder and wound up off key in order to hear myself on the speakers and confirm my mic was on.

I haven't had the food there yet but the drinks are yummy, and the karaoke is great! The host is talented and enthusiastic so really keeps up the vibe, the crowd was supportive of each other and just overall a really fun time!
Parking: The parking is sort a street parking lot (back-in angled spaces painted on the side of the street. It's usually pretty easy to find a spot within a block

**from what I have read on other low star reviews, there seems to be a repeating pattern of racism from at least one of the bartenders, most likely the one that my husband & I interacted with. My husband is Ethiopian so from what I can discern that had to play a role in the way we were treated. Extremely distasteful.
The bartender that was working 6/29/24 & 7/6/24 was super rude for no reason. It was my first time coming to Boombox & I love the atmosphere. Super cute, pretty decent food but the service sucked. Regardless of your perception of someone, as a business it’s your job to make the customer feel welcome, safe, & valued. That was not the vibe my husband & I received from the bartender.
Parking: Parking right in front which is convenient

The bald bartender working the evening of 12th of July was so rude and tried to tell us that he couldn’t accept any passports that weren’t US, Canada or Mexico as it was ‘the law’. Which is just not true. We have been in Seattle for a month and it’s the first time that we ever had this. We left our party and went to find another bar and in the meantime looked up the law, to of course find out it’s not true. Our friend went to the bar with this information and the bar tender continued to fight with us saying he couldn’t ’bend the rules’ until the manager or someone else stepped in. We went back but the other bar tenders also weren’t very friendly and the Mannys was extremely cloudy and didn’t taste right.
