The sign in the window said they open at 8. I came around 8:15 and they were not open. The coffee is good, but really pricey. I came from NYC and still think this coffee cost to much. Otherwise it’s a great little spot with a cool little park next to it.

At Boon Boona, sharing a daily cup is about more than just caffeine—it’s about slowing down and connecting. When you choose their coffee, you’re supporting a more equitable coffee economy. They work exclusively with African producers and exporters, ensuring a greater share of profits goes to women-owned farms and communities often overlooked. Their cafes are designed with you in mind—welcoming spaces where you can gather, discover local artists, support nonprofits, and enjoy pop-ups from the small businesses you love.

Love the cortado, lovely people, most delicious ciabatta bun on the sausage breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Please don’t ever change it.
Such a great coffee shop, loved everything !
Great coffee and tea and a great place to work or catch up with friends. Support your local Black-owned businesses
Purchased coffee I had from another business. Great service with a smile 😊
I love love love the rainbow sprinkle cookie.
Sausage egg sandwich was a lil too saucy for me but very very very yummy.
A good cozy/ somewhat quiet place to get some work done/ go on a coffee date. Fast WiFi, clean bathroom, friendly, talented staff that produce some of my favorite and arguable my most consistent coffee spot.
I came here to taste some coffee to bring some home. I had an Ethiopian bean roasted in house on batcha brew, so I got it. It was pretty solid, so I ended up buying that bag, and their sampler box. I didn’t get to drink their concoctions, but they look pretty good.
Our favorite coffee in Seattle ! Service was on point 5/5 times. Devon (sp) is kind and personable, and my son raves about their chocolate croissants 🥐. Thank you!!! 💕

Best chai latte I’ve had.
Very welcoming environment. Many chairs and tables around for you to hang out for a while. Sun comes in during the mornings so I recommend that.

This is one of the most welcoming (and Deaf friendly) businesses in Seattle. I come here once a week with a group of Deaf and signing individuals and the manager takes all of our orders in sign language. Within a couple weeks they learned everyone’s names. The space is gorgeous and a wonderful place to hang out with friends.

Super cute spot for some coffee/drinks. There is street parking available in front and across the street from the store.
I ordered from the Summer Menu (I'm writing this very late I know, sorry lol) and I got the Iced Strawberry Matcha as well as the Lychee Rhubarb Strawberry Iced Tea. Both drinks were very refreshing and not too sweet which I liked. I wasn't able to order any coffee during my visit but I look forward to coming back and trying their coffee next time.
