Came here for a quick lunch. Was told it would be a 20-30 minute wait to get food, which would have been totally fine. We ended up waiting at least an hour and fifteen to get our food, which was not worth it. The sandwich had no flavor and fries were blackened. While the waitress was sweet, no staff checked on us or updated us on how long the food was going to take. Other tables asked for an ETA on food, and were given a patronizing response of "Well I told you it would be a long wait." 20 minutes and more than an hour are quite different. Not worth going until service and (under?)staffing issues are fixed.

We waited 35+ minutes for a table, after being told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, but no problem, it was a beautiful day. It took forever for the waiter to take our order and he never returned until after the food was delivered by someone else. The food arrived over an hour after we were seated. French toast and eggs were cold. Chicken fried steak was dry and tough, covered in lukewarm gravy. They took 1/2 off of our check. The gesture was appreciated but it should have been 100%.

I am sorry to say that my friend and I had an awful experience at this cafe yesterday. We waited 20 minutes after being seated then I asked someone to please take our order. 1.5 hours later we started to ask what had happened to our order. Seems they were training new staff in the kitchen and had not even started on it. I think the staff should have warned us that there was a very long wait. We left and went to Whole Foods for sandwiches. It is a shame this had to happen. I hope they can get their act together as it is a nice space and good location.

Had breakfast today with my dog on the patio. Which is so much better now with a fresh coat of paint! Bryant Corner Cafe remains one of the best brunch spots in ALL of seattle. Food great, service great. Maddy barista awesome, Elysa server great, Ben the best and attentive Manager Shawn was a nice touch. I probably spelled several names wrong, but thats not the important part. Its a great place!

Most likely the worst dining experience I have ever had. I will not be returning because I wasn't even able to try the food after waiting upwards of 2 hours for food that never came. It took more than 30 minutes to receive coffee and orange juice, and an HOUR AND A HALF for only half of our table to receive their food, which was of really poor quality. The other half (including me) did not receive their food at all after waiting for more than TWO HOURS. At that point our entire table went to the counter to which the staff told us we were good to go. This is the first review I have ever felt the need to write and hope management/ownership is able to take the criticism to make necessary changes.

Was told the wait time is 15-25, ended up being an hour after several reminders. Then the food took an another 45 minutes from ordering, thanks for the excellent service!

The low reviews are accurate and I highly discourage people from trying out this spot. Under new management, I've seen all the things that other reviews pointed out; the wait times are significantly longer and the space was not very clean (sticky and dirty menus, broken chairs) and very loud with music playing over an already busy restaurant. We arrived at 8:15am in the morning and did not have a server until around 20 minutes later. We waited another 40 minutes for the food. We heard our waitress apologizing to multiple tables and we felt bad that she was one of the only servers. There appeared to be too many front staff; there were at least 2 staff just filling waters/coffees at tables and then standing around while the kitchen and waitress were all understaffed. When the food finally arrived, my swedish pancakes were entirely burnt. At this point, it had been a full hour and we requested our items to go.I would highly recommend portage bay, sunlight cafe, or wayward if you'd like a high quality experience and able to eat within a reasonable time frame. Our waitress was very kind and apologetic; it seems more of the management issues that are what is losing customers. Would not go back.

I came here after a hards day work and I waited 2 hours for food that never came and the service was terrible. Waitress was condescending to my friend didn't check on us at all I saw her maybe twice . Terrible experience their excuse was they had new chefs. No signs of management anywhere.

I went last Saturday with my family for brunch, it was very busy but we were seated promptly. The food was delicious, a good combination of fresh ingredients and good flavor. I was a little bit frustrated at the beginning because the service was slow but Oscar (who works as a busser) immediately noticed and with his amazing customer service skills stepped up and immediately started solving some of the simple things that we were missing like napkins, a spoon, more hot water for the coffee, checking on our food, etc. The manager does a very good job training people so overall I think this is a great place spot to have good food, good service and a great time! Can´t wait to go back.

My wife and I love coming to this local spot for a weekend breakfast/brunch. The staff are kind and provide good service, the extensive menu has everything you'd ever want (including espresso options), and the food is good. They provide solid portions that taste good and you don't pay a crazy price. Bryant corner can surely brighten up your weekend.

First time back since new ownership, and it's pretty much the same. Restaurant got a nice face-lift, felt noticeably cleaner and open. There was a lot to renovate and I can see the effort there.I do see a drop in quality in some of the food items, which I know the menu is basically the same but the ingredients seem different/overcooked or underseasoned. If I'm paying $5.25 for a latte, I expect espresso; not drip coffee+steamed milk. No crema/attempt at latte art like before. Sorry if that seems snobbish. It was still tasty.Maybe it'll take some time to perfect the food/drinks, I'm sure a lot of attention and detail has been focused on getting this place running again. So that's why my review is just average, but I wanted to show my perspective as a prior cafe owner.

Huge disappointment. Used to be my favorite brunch place for salmon eggs Benedict when I lived near by. Now few years later I came in for it, and was excited to eat here again. Unfortunately, it wasn’t even close to what it used to be. Over-fried cold potatoes, hard boiled eggs and a smidge of the Benedict sauce… it was Bad. Definitely not worth $20 they charge for it. No longer recommend it.
