We have transited past Bua 9 for several years and finally dropped in. Our order came out quickly! And graciously served. Everyone was real nice (including the patrons, which speaks volumes). It's true: hard to get bad Thai food in Seattle. But each dish was true to its intention, and correctly spiced. Very delicious! Panang curry with brown (red! Maroon) rice was delightful. Pad Kee Mao was correct, vegetables perfectly cooked. We selected the basil fried rice and it had the right waké. The swimming rama was all of the things. Next time we won't wait nearly as long to come back.
Food was amazing! Had the garlic garlic chicken, angel eggplant. Both were on lunch menu. Big portions. Also had spring rolls which were delicious!

Amazing food and service, and they are not afraid of healthy portions. The taste is truly authentic. I celebrated my birthday here and the waiter was impressive and paid full attention to the wants and needs of my 15 close friends and families. Don't wait, and say goodbye to all other Thai restaurants you've found a gem 💎

Went here last night 09/14/25 and got charged $80 for 4 plates. Only thing that was alright was the wings. Maruchan taste better than the ramen they serve here. Also we had a whole hour to eat but seemed like they where trying to close early.

Pad thai is very good and umami, owner was really welcoming and nice. They also have a special on Wednesday, you get a dinner size Pad Thai for the price of a lunch size.
Seatown, I'm back and this Thai joint you have to stop and try. It's an open kitchen design...with nothing to hide.
I had the pleasure to enjoy the Garlic noodles with Chicken...amazing, the fresh not frozen noodles was truly noticeable.
Family, if you get the chance you have to stop into Bua 9 in Columbia City

Casual place with great food and good prices. Mostly serving take out orders but has a few indoor tables. Nice people working hard. Try it, you'll love it. Some dishes have a minimum 2 star spice level, just be aware in case you can't stand a little kick in your food.

Food is really good and the people that work there are very nice, but please adjust your hours so that they are consistent. It would be best that close is set at 11PM rather than 12AM for clarity so that people aren't guessing or wasting time trying to figure out if the place is still open.
