I got the spicy chicken teriyaki (my personal default) combo with the four piece gyoza. I came in after lunch around 1:45pm after calling in my order. I picked up my order, paid, thanked the staff and left. It was a nice day, so I drove down to a park to enjoy the weather while I ate.The plating was three quarters rice, one quarter salad with the chicken on top of the rice. Portions were pretty generous. I would say there was about three chicken thighs worth of meat on there. The chicken was a little messy in its arrangement, but it may have been jostled on my journey down. It did look like the chicken was tossed in a sauce after cooking, as the cut sides of the chicken were colored by the sauce pretty consistently. But that also could have come from an additional application of sauce once the chicken was plated. The chicken itself was great. It had a little bit of char on it (as it should) but wasnt overcooked. It could’ve had a little more char on it, but what I got would suffice. I wouldn’t describe it as juicy, but it was not dry whatsoever. The sauce coating the chicken was sweeter than what I was used to, but balanced out well with the rice. They gave me an additional sauce cup that I put on top. That sauce was unusually thick, and took some work to get mixed/spread over the chicken. I honestly don’t even think it was necessary for me to use it, but it was fine. The chicken was good, bordering on great. The rice took up enough of the sauce to imbue it with some of its tasty flavor making the rice experience quite pleasant. The grains were of a medium to medium-short variety which is pretty typical of most teriyaki establishments. The rice didnt show any signs of it sitting in a rice cooker too long nor did it show any signs of overcooking. The rice stuck together in clumps pretty well even after absorbing some of the sauce. Overall the rice was good. The salad was of the iceberg mix variety with a few slivers of carrots in it, again pretty typical. Like it came from a grocery store pre-mix bag. Not that its a bad thing. The dressing was medium thickness, sweet and slightly acidic. It was pretty comparable to most teriyaki restaurants. The gyoza were fried well, and had a nice crispy shell. The shell itself did not show signs of freezer burn and had nice blistering from frying. The filling felt pretty average but that is saying that I still enjoyed it very much. The dipping sauce for the gyoza was not too soy sauce heavy. It had a nice acidity likely from a mirin or a rice wine vinegar and a touch of sesame oil for flavor paired very well with the dumplings. The meal was expensive though, I was out the door $21 poorer (not including tip). Now this could totally be my fault for not looking at the reciept or menu more closely, but I was expecting the charge to be more like $18 based on the images of their menu on google. However, they dont have a spicy chicken teriyaki + gyoza item on their menu specifically though they do have one thats teriyaki + 3 gyoza + 1 egg roll. So maybe I was charged a non-combo price.Overall, 8/10 experience on the meal. The price knocks down a point and the chicken not being fresh sliced does as well. But it still gets 5 stars because its great. Theres nothing wrong here and they get most everything just the way it should be. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

I am always surprised by how yummy everything tastes from their menu. Lower prices than others, huge portions, best customer service, and did I mention how good the food tastes?!

Really good food but used to get a side salad back when the chicken teriyaki was 15.99. Now it's like 18.99 and they put the salad in with the teriyaki. I cannot believe how expensive this place is compared to EVERY other place in the surrounding 10 miles. 9.99 for 10 small frozen gyoza. No longer my go to Teriyaki

Katsu and beef super combo was $28. Food is good but running them prices to steakhouse prices is a shame.

The best Teriyaki establishment I have found and it kinda’ on the way home. I wouldn’t want it to be directly on the way home as I would stop more often and feed my waistline. Every item I have ordered is excellent. The Fried Rice is the best as is their Teriyaki.Parking: Parking during peak business hours can be difficult as there are 4 small businesses and only about 20 narrow stalls where big American cars and truck take 2 spaces. You can park out on the street though and walk an extra 100 feet.

Excellent teriyaki, I see why they are one of the top 16 restaurants in Burien. Very good teriyaki sauce and I only eat at one other teriyaki place. I tried the orange and General chicken. Both are pretty good. I would get them again. Staff is friendly and pretty quick.
