Food is consistently above average with a higher value than most of the surrounding businesses. You get a good amount of (mostly homestyle) food for what you pay. Food quality and value are the important things and why they get 4 stars.

Negatives: Listed prices are NOT what rings up (e.g. $10 for a sandwich rings up at $10.35); take-out includes a charge of 25 cents per item; and ordering ahead through their very own website involves a built-in 15% price increase...
the byreks and breakfast options are delicious, the byreks are perfectly flaky and filling. super cute place with comfy ambiance, food is made promptly. after being here multiple times, i just wish the people at the register were more friendly; i felt like i was talking to a cold brick wall most of the time.
Nice little family-run cafe right by Seattle University that has breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads and byreks made like in Albania (description on their cafe wall). We liked the baguette sandwiches. The chicken soup was also hearty. The fries were so good! The baguette is not like the traditional French baguette, but is soft and chewy in texture and much smaller. The outside crust didn't look the most appetizing to me, but it made up in flavor. Friendly service and there...
