(+1 ⭐) CaiBao buns were decent
(+1 ⭐) Tea was not bad
(+3 ⭐) Gentleman manager, nice-save
(- 4 ⭐) Little lady behind the counter -- ATTITUDE!!

Hot drink spilling incident with a flimsy unsecured lid poured hot liquid on wife's lap. Went to the counter to remind the little lady to be more mindful about securing the cover tight and solid. The counter lady dished out an agitated response.

I checked the store's previous reviews; and realized that spilled drinks on to customers due to sloppy drink cover is not the first time happened at the un-happy cafe. The gentleman manager finally came out and helped ease the tension -- good on him.

Another quick search on the map returned over 23 similar tea cafes within the nearby area. So I failed to see how barking your customers with attitudes is going to help with your business longevity. Gonna give this a place a timeout and spend money at the other 23 places instead.

I have never waited so long for a bagel sandwiches in my life. Service was basically nonexistent, and the seating, which I waited on forever, was uncomfortable. The long-awaited sandwiches were mediocre at best. This place is enough to bring out the Karen in anyone!

I was served RAW BACON on a turkey club bagel. The entire sandwich was sopping wet from the grease of the uncooked bacon. Not sure what meat was on there but it was not turkey. I immediately threw the sandwich away after removing the bacon and taking one small bite. Disgusting. Mad that I spent $15 to throw the food away.

While the drinks were decent, the atmosphere and environment of the cafe was not.

I walked in the other day and the temperature indoors versus outdoors was like night and day. It was so hot and stuffy. There was a fan in the corner that barely did anything. The restroom felt like the heater was turned on. If the AC was broken, there was no sign or other additional accommodations to help with the unusual heat.

There was nobody on the kiosk outside of the staff delivering drinks up to the front. If you had issues or questions with anything, like asking for a cup of water, there wasn't anyone to ask. Nobody answered when I knocked on the staff door, nobody was visible through the partially open door into the kitchen.

The rest of the reviews on the cafe are positive so I wonder if these things are just a temporary thing. Just something to keep in mind if anybody is visiting around this time.

Don’t go. Hot, expensive. Mapo tofu are like food got from last night. I rarely leave comment, I just felt bad spending $25 there so I had to.

The smoothies are really good I love the blueberry and strawberry and banna. The only downside for me is there is no AC so it gets a little warm inside.

I’m disappointed. The atmosphere is nice and cute, but there’s only a kiosk behind the counter. When there was an issue with my order, there wasn’t anyone to talk to. Despite being supposedly vegan friendly, it’s tough to find the alt milk options. Plus, the kiosk asked me to tip. Come on.

Totally in love with this cozy little spot in Seattle! Cafe Happy really lives up to the name. Such a warm, welcoming vibe and the friendliest staff ever. The drinks are super well-made, and the Buns sooo good. It’s the perfect place to chill, get some work done, or hang out with friends. Definitely a must if you’re in town!

Loved coming here to study. I appreciate the late-night hours, and I always get quality boba. My favorite is the summer paradise iced tea.

Reheated frozen items without any significant flavor without adding tons of sauce.
