Sadly, this place has gone downhill since moving from Kirkland. I absolutely loved getting their Taiwanese egg sandwich at every visit, but I haven’t been able to at their newer location in University District because each time I’ve gone they are either closed during their listed business hours or are not serving food when they are open.
Today was the last straw for me after my 4th attempt. It’s unfortunate because it was one of my favorite places to eat at their old location where I never encountered these issues.
I got a cherry milk tea and wasn't sure what to expect cause I've never drank something cherry flavor and it was better than I thought, but I don't think it was for me. I did enjoy drinking in the shop though, it felt relaxing to sit in the shop
my drink is so good! im a boba snob and this is bussin ong!
Ordered drinks here 4 times, boba was only cooked well the first time, and once it tasted completely unsweetened. They serve boba with a light hand. The "Boba Smoothies" on the menu are not at all accurate to the description, just water and ice blended with drink mix. It's a nice place to work though, I appreciate that it's open late. They replaced my drink with something else when they served it mostly melted and inaccurate to the description. DO NOT order LJ's favorite bao unless you love mayo- because it's just a glob of mayo between 2 pieces of bao-ish buns.
Really appreciate a food place that closes later at night. I usually stopped here before taking an hour bus back to home at night, so having some fuel before getting back on bus is very much appreciated.

Ah, a place where one might find the illusion of charm, until one ventures deeper. The atmosphere? Impressive, yes, for those who deem a room full of "dimes" a worthy spectacle. The true tragedy, however, lies in the boba. A concoction so underwhelming, it could only be described as an affront to the very notion of taste. I paid for extra boba, only to find none in my cup, and when I dared to inquire, the staff's response was an audible *huhhhh*—the universal sound of incompetence. After 9 PM, the establishment seems to undergo a peculiar transformation: the staff’s faculties appear to shut down entirely. As for the transaction itself, it was so riddled with missteps that I found myself forced to contact my bank to report it as a fraudulent charge. One might call it a tragic comedy, if it weren't so utterly disappointing.
I have never left a review for a store before, but the egg with rice and the chicken broccoli was so bad it should be classified as a hate crime. The chicken had so much sauce that it was drowning in it yet it was so unflavored and rubbery. The picture on the menu compared to the actual dish was legitimately worse than getting catfished. They called it “chicken broccoli” with zero notice about how it is vegan, and even if it was vegan it gives it no excuse for how genuinely terrible the food was anyways. Even for vegan food the food is genuinely scarring on how terrible it tasted. I have never seen anyone mess up chicken broccoli with rice before and this blows it out of the water for terrible food. The rice dishes here were genuinely the worst dishes i have ever eaten in my life by a long shot. The boba here is often times clumped into solid blocks and struggle to go through the straw.
Came in 1 full hour before close and they said, "Because we are so close to closing time, we don't have any boba." They were the only boba shop still open in Seattle which is why I went there. I am not sure if their drinks are good because I didn't order anything. Rating is for the closing time policy.
Did not know was a vegan place. Ordered chicken and was warmed microwaved tofu with a lot of seasoning. I am not againts vegetarian food, but the food was bad. I throw my dish because I could not eat it.

had an incredibly frustrating experience with your customer service. When I requested no boba, no honey, and no milk, there were no issues at all. However, when I asked for no ice, your team tried to make excuses, saying things like "you can't make a smoothie without ice" or "it will be too thick." I make smoothies myself and know that this isn't a problem, and it's clear the real reason for the resistance is that removing the ice requires using more ingredients, cutting into your profit margins.
To make matters worse, the drink wasn’t sealed properly, and it leaked into my bag, damaging my belongings, including electronics. If you're willing to lose a regular customer who might have bought a smoothie every two to three days just to save a bit on ingredients, congratulations—you’ve succeeded. Nice job! ;)
The boba tea here is good, but I don’t quite recommend the bao buns. Firstly, the coco bun picture has a swirl of some sort of cinnamon or swirled mix but it came out just plain white. Then the other two buns, the cream cheese and strawberry cream cheese (just normal cream cheese and jam) weren’t really the greatest either. I’d recommend the boba tea but the food here isn’t something I would come back again for. Skip on that.
The atmosphere is very cool, all the people there sit and do their business on computers and it’s very quiet there, even if there are a lot of people and beautiful, in general, I really like it

“I recently visited this café and tried their boba tea – it was amazing! The drinks were super fresh, and the boba pearls had the perfect chewy texture. They have a variety of flavors, and everything tastes so good. The café itself is cozy, with friendly staff and a chill vibe. It’s definitely my new favorite spot for boba! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place with great drinks and a nice atmosphere.”
