I love the coffee, the food and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. My favorite foods are the financiers and the bulgogi sandwiches!

The staff was so friendly and helpful! They gave great suggestions and explained the sweetness level of their drinks. I ordered an iced Spanish latte. The sweetness can be controlled in this drink, but I like my drinks on the sweeter side so I didn’t make any adjustments. It comes with a cinnamon stick on top which I thought was cute. Other drinks our group ordered were a caramel latte, hazelnut latte, and I ed chai. The chai was delicious and I loved my Spanish latte! We also ordered the egg and cheese sandwich which was ok, nothing special. I think their drinks are more of the highlight.

Checks all the boxes! One of the rare coffee shops that makes a matcha latte correctly. Breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats are delicious, you can tell their ingredients are pretty fresh. To top it off all the folks here are so kind. I’m a regular now ☺️

I like how they have some unique drinks, like tumeric latte or einspanner, and all of them are delicious. They have alternative milk options, which is always a plus in my book. I love their scones, and their sandwiches. Definitely try out bulgogi sandwich when you have a chance to stop by. Their service is top notch, you never have to wait long for your drinks, and all of the staffs are incredibly nice.

Had a nice green tea latte it felt nice and refreshing. The sausage egg and cheese sandwich was fine but the bun nice was buttery. The blueberry scone was the star of the show flakey, soft and buttery.

overall, cafe an clair is an aesthetic coffee spot in SLU with very average/below average food.the food was decent overall. i had the avocado toast, the yuzu financier and a spicy chai with oat milk. the avocado was not good. the bread was thick and it was not toasted (??). the amount of avocado on the bread was too much for a bread of that size. no seasoning at all, just some red chili flakes on top. the crust of the bread was hard to chew through, but the white part was too soft (it was collapsing under the weight from the avocado). for $9.75, i would not recommend this avocado toast at all. the yuzu financier did not taste of yuzu at all, just almond cake. but it was very good. I liked that the financiers were bite sized and you could try a couple of flavors for those. they tasted fresh. the spicy chai with oat milk was good. for people looking for ‘authentic’ chai, it was not ‘authentic’ but nonetheless, it was very good. it was not too frothy and had the right amount of spice.service was good. the ladies at the front were polite and friendly. service was quick, no issues with the service at all.atmosphere is actually really good. it’s in SLU but it’s not cramped at all. the interior is monochrome white. the chairs are nice and cute and they’re placed by the window so they get enough sunlight. some bigger tables (4-6pax), but mostly tables for 2. it feels like a comfortable place where you can work for a couple of hours.overall, cafe anClair needs to work on their avocado toast but it’s a good place to relax and have your coffee/put in a couple of hours of work. I would recommend to people working in downtown for a quick coffee stop or for a corporate/work 1:1 (but only for beverages!)Dietary restrictions: almond flour in some pastries, but clearly labeled.Parking: a few spots usually are open around the cafe.Kid-friendliness: kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: access is at street-level and no stairs are needed to navigate around the entire place. did not see a wheelchair accessible door though.

This local coffee shop serves an amazing latte with a delightful coffee aroma. My absolute favorite is the Spanish ice latte with oat milk. Their breakfast options and sweet treats are totally my jam. I tried their seasonal chestnut pudding and can't stop craving it. The store is clean and pet-friendly. They consistently prepare coffee and breakfast quickly. It's my go-to spot!
