What do you get when you combine the old, creaky floors of a quaint bookstore (never change them!), Fidalgo Espresso and Coffee, various hot teas, delicious food (especially the Eggs Benedict), baklava, a place to eat, study, and let the kids play with toys! Cafe Arta!! A gem in the Ravenna neighborhood, and a must-try if you’re near the area. Cafe Arta truly lives up to its name!!
Vegetarian options: I didn’t try any today, but at least one of the soups was labeled vegetarian.
Parking: Parking lot is on the north side of the building, and there is street parking all around.
Kid-friendliness: Several places for kids to play during/after a meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: 100% ADA - right off the parking lot.

My friend and I came in to co-work together and got coffee and a bit to eat to share. Unfortunately, their area for working was full so we went outside for a bit to eat and chat. My friend decided to leave and I chose to stay and asked someone taking orders what the WiFi password was, who was very friendly and told me. However, seconds later, the manager approached and in a very confrontational and rude way told me I had to buy something to be there. After calmly sharing the situation from my perspective, she wouldn’t listen, cut me off, and argued more. Definitely won’t be coming back here. Other Third Place Books is much better with better food and coffee anyway.

The perfect neighborhood spot for brunch. The staff here are phenomenal!! I swung by on a Saturday after a 25 person/family/kids group descended on the cafe while they had limited staff but the gals working moved at a double time rate, greeted everyone quickly coming through the door, got coffee in people’s hands, picked up toddlers shoes, corralled young and old with grace and skill and still managed to get my Greek scramble order in a timely fashion and out to me piping hot and delicious. Drip Coffee was also excellent and not too acidic
Kid-friendliness: Play pen for kids in bookstore/cafe, very kid friendly

Steak sandwich special is delicious. Side salad is delicately dressed with wondrous flavor.
Also tried a scramble and an omelette at the table. Everyone loves their food.
Cafe is attached to a neighborhood bookstore that is worth wandering.

Love this place! Food is amazing, great prices and best of all, the customer service is the best! Arta is a wonderful human. I come here frequently. There is a place to work with coffee next to restaurant. Bookstore connected to Cafe has a great selection and features unusual titles, games and stationary. You will love it here!

To be honest, we didn't eat there, but our companions did and enjoyed their meals. They frequent this corner location, our first visit. A Cafe inside a book store. Very cozy with a downstairs dining and bar area in addition to main floor dining. An outside area too!

Not too may local neighborhood places like this. The ambiance and the food at the pub is phenomenal whether you're meeting friends or need some space to work or study. The beer selection is excellent too. Overall my highest recommendation.

They have an area setup for people to work on laptops (with purchase), but the wifi is too slow to actually work here. It's around 20-25 Mbps.

If you want to support leftist spaces in Seattle, do not be tricked by the company name. Same self righteous and inattentive bar staff you can find throughout Seattle’s dive scene at co-op prices. If I want to listen about how the WA legislature is ruining the state I’ll go upstairs. If you want your wait staff to complain about how the neighborhood has gone then they should also provide service worth missing.
