Usually love this place, one of my favorite spots in Seattle. Must have been an off day, they seemed to be running behind and all our food was overcooked.

Delicious food, great ambience. Love all the plants and natury vibe and the fountain. Excellent cocktails, and in general everything tastes great

Always delicious and always great service. I really enjoy trying the different seasonal items. They put together different flavors I would never think of, but are always interesting and tasty. Weekend brunch and dinner are both highly recommended. For weekend brunch, arrive before 9:30 if you want to avoid a wait.

It says alot about the quality of a restaurant that is able to survive in Seattle since 1991! Recently went there for afternoon tea and it was wonderful. So many unique offerings of tea and finger foods. The service was great like it always is. I was actually able to park in their little back parking lot! Bonus.

Ardent was fantastic! He was so patient, accommodating, and attentive when I brought my grandma and great-aunt in for holiday tea! Everything was delicious and the tea selection was wonderful. I also had a peppermint mocha that was heaven!

Despite being asked by the host to wait for a table at 2pm, seeing several open tables in the restaurant, and no one ahead/leaving, I was seated after a strange 10 minute wait. However, my server was very friendly and the kitchen quickly turned out my meal. It was filling, well balanced with flavors and textures, and quite a satisfying meal overall. Best spot in Seattle for vegan/vegetarian breakfast or brunch.

A great cozy, comfy place for vegetarian food. Lots of awesome wine selection, and the deserts are a must have.

We went for the winter High Tea and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was delightful and the sound of the fountain really added to it. The tea selection was excellent. The treats were all incredible. Every single one of them was tasty and unique. We're going to make it a holiday tradition!

The food a ok. Not a fan. Coming from NY this was really meh. Didn't get the squash in eggs. Mochi beignet was interesting. The grits was simply amazing. Quaint place, but very underwhelming on the flavors. Could return on the next trip just for the grits.

A go to brunch spot for me. Always amazing, fresh, delicious food. Great tea selection. So pleased with the vegan, and/or gluten free options. Baked goods are divine as well (although the previous gluten beingets were way better than the current gf version - wish they still had that as an option). But it is a small complaint as there are so many greats on the menu.

My favorite spot for brunch in Seattle! The cafe has a tiny parking lot (about ~5 spots) and typically ample free street parking.
The decor is floral/plant centric with a beautiful atrium set in the middle of the restaurant.
Brunch is their bread and butter. We’ve had dinner a couple times and it can be hit or miss. Brunch on the weekend never disappoints and has a rotating seasonal menu.
Brunch on the weekends can be busy, but if you show up before 10am, you can typically be sat right away.

‘Twas the night of Thanksgiving 2025 and things were pretty off at Cafe Flora. We had a reservation, showed up right on time, but were made to wait about 20 minutes until our table was ready. When we were seated, cocktails came around and they were tasty. We ordered off the prix fixe Thanksgiving menu and our soups and salads came fairly quickly, but then things just fell apart. It took 45 minutes to receive our entrées. The kids’ Shepherd Pies were piping hot, but the adults’ fare was assuredly not - luke-warm mains and cold sides. The manager came around and offered to re-fire the adults’ meals, and 10 minutes later we began again, but the meals were only moderately warmer - my vegetables and my friend’s pumpkin were well undercooked.
Dessert redeemed the experience somewhat - although the vegan pumpkin pie could have used a little more spice in its life, the conventional pies tasted really good.
I will say the manager deducted 25% off the bill for our experience, which was the right thing to do. But they were just too busy or unprepared for a holiday night.
Even the most revered restaurants have an off night. But an underwhelming meal with a big bill at the end left us disappointed in the experience.
We’ll be back again - but for brunch!
