This Hegen location is waaay worth than the one in Queen Anne. Ordered a chicken avo sandwich and got… just bread with lettuce with a really tiny piece of dry chicken :) (see picture). Also healthy skillet is mostly consist of onions. Asked for a scrambled egg in it, they didn’t bother. I like Hegen, but things like this is happening very often in this location.

I'm from Seattle...this is probably the best cafe in the city. Dog-friendly, outdoor-seating, responsive/friendly staff, and capable baristas and bakers. Best croissant in town hands down.

Brunch place that doesn't serve bloody mary or mimosa, breakfast was mediocre at best. Tables are seated are so close that you can barely walk by. Definitely a fire hazard.

I had walked by this place many times and was looking forward to trying it. The fruit fly infestation was much too revolting for me. They were all over the restaurant, including in the bathroom. I don’t think that kind of an infestation happens overnight. I think it takes ignoring the problem for a long time. It’s too gross. I will not be back.

We enjoyed the kopehagen latte, the hagen 75 cocktail and the red beets and avocado toast. The market club croissant sandwich was ok abd a bit too heavy (not necessarily a bad thing if you like your meat)

Can get a bit busy at times, but cozy with good coffee. Must try the jam waffles, they are fantastic!

Fantastic food and good coffees.
Crowds arrive at 9am so get there before then!

Always soft EDM playing but it's a vibe.

I had the hazel berry latte and the espresso flavor didn’t really come through. There are very limited breakfast sandwich options for those that just want to grab something quick and go. Person at the counter did not say anything to me, someone else eventually came up to the counter to assist and she was great. The atmosphere itself is serene with lots of tropical plants all over the place.

Café Hagen is a really nice, chill spot for brunch. The vibe is laid-back and perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed weekend morning. The food itself tastes awesome—everything we had was fresh, well-made, and clearly prepared with care. The coffee was also really good, which is always a must for me at a brunch spot.

That being said, I do feel the prices are a little on the higher side for the portions and overall value. It’s not a deal-breaker since the food quality is solid, but it’s something to keep in mind.

There was a small line to order when I went, but nothing overwhelming, and it moved pretty quickly. Once seated, it was easy to just sit back and enjoy. I’d say Café Hagen is best for when you want a calm brunch experience, good coffee, and fresh food in a casual environment.

Cardamom buns are incredible. Coffee is amazing. People are friendly. Brunch boards are sooo good.
I really just wish some family facilities would be provided. No changing facility, we have to use a dirty toilet floor, and no high chair available which would be so helpful as we love coming here, it's just not family friendly and makes eating together challenging.

Visited recently. The aubergine sandwich and the waffle with berries were great but the Nordic cheese toast was a big miss. The cheese toast had an excessive amount of dill on it. It was just a mouthful of herbs and no other flavor. Would come back but will stick to the waffle and sandwiches.

A modern Scandinavian cafe, with a great ambience and a perfect cafe (which is rare in my opinion).

After having recommended by a gazillion friends/ co-workers I finally tried this place, (twice in 2 days ) boy the coffee didn’t disappoint at all, and was consistent. My usual cappuccino, and latte are such a perfect mix of 2 espresso shots and little amount of milk.

Weekends it gets crowded, and expect ~15-30 min wait, but the service is really good and would keep going back as it’s ~10 min away from my home.
