Cafe Lago was a delicious Italian dinner with friends on a weeknight. The atmosphere inside is intimate and well decorated, with a small bar area but plenty of room overall. The menu isn't massive, but there was something for everyone at our table which had a variety of limitations (vegetarian, non alcoholic, etc.) The drinks we received were all tasty and the appetizers pretty dang good. The tomato crostini appetizer in particular was absolutely phenomenal.
The entrees were similarly strong, if not a bit on the blander side. For example, my lasagna was solid but I'd have appreciated more spice or a protein in the mix. Overall, had a great time and would come back.

Been coming here for years. It never disappoints. Each individual ingredient is amazing and when they put it all together it is over the top. Get the lasagna for sure!!

No clear vegan options on the menu. Waited almost 2 hours for our food. Save your time and money, go to Razzis instead!

Waited over an hour and a half for our food and the excuse was “the vegan pasta took longer to cook” which makes no sense given that vegan food has no bacteria or dead bodies in it that need to be cooked through. Food is aggressively mediocre and overpriced. Overall pretentious and would not return. Save your money and time!

Ravioli is amazing. So much flavor and not heavy on the pasta. Along with sourdough bread, yumm. Need reservation. Lovely evening with friends.

Cafe Lago is a very solid Italian spot in the Seattle area. The ravioli is a must-try, and contrary to many reviews, I actually enjoyed the pastas more than the pizza. I’ve had better pizzas elsewhere in Seattle — the dough here was on the chewier side with lower hydration.
Their tiramisu was good standard for any italian restaurant
The restaurant is fairly loud. While the interiors are nice, the tables are quite close together, which makes it less ideal for an intimate date night. That said, the food quality and excellent service make it a place worth visiting in Seattle.

Romantic place with great tomato sauce on the pizza. Delicious pepperoni. The lighting is dark and candlelit, very cozy. We went for my husband’s birthday, it was romantic for both of us.

Cafe Lago never disappoints. The incredible staff and wonderful environment makes this one of the jewels of Seattle dining. They make wonderful wood fired pizzas. The lasagna and home made pastas are flavorful and fresh. The menu rotates by the season. If you happen to be there when they make their nectarine salad, you must get it. It is one of the best things I have ever eaten!

Cafe Lago is a gem. We reserved a large table and had to change our group size FOUR times leading up to the event. The managers were gracious, flexible, and responsive. The food, drink, and vibes were perfect.

I just went to Lago’s page to get to their website and was shocked at 4.5 rating! Cafe Lago is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle and consistently has some of the best service and just an overall wonderful dining experience every time. I have come yearly for my birthday for at least the last 5 years and every time the food and atmosphere are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I love all the dishes but their fall pastas are my fave. Not to mention the old school neon sign is a sight for sore eyes when in traffic on 24th. Can’t wait to head to dinner there next month.
