The place is nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay there. The service was pretty good, although it was very slow. We waited 20-30 minutes for our salad and 40-45 minutes for the margarita pizza, even though we came at 5pm when the restaurant was not too crowded.The food was very good, although not perfect. We enjoyed the beet antipasti and the Caesar salad. The pizza was quite delicious, with a thin crust, but not just out of the oven like I prefer. Also, the crust was very crispy. This may work for some people, but I prefer it to be softer like a regular Italian pizza.Overall, I would recommend to friends and would probably try it again.

Great food let down by poor service Arrived on a saturday evening with my wife and daughter for some casual italian food. Immediately felt very comfortable pleasant surroundings.Everyone chatting enjoying their food We were shown to the table.Handed some reasonably price menus After about 15 to 20 minutes, we decided to wave down. A passer by to see if we could be get some service. This carried on all night. Our server had friends at the bar and ignored our area all night Pity because the food and drinks were great but we won't be back

Apparently you need to make sure you specify non bolognese lasagne for take out. Even though the ricotta option ( which I’ve had dining in and is delicious) literally says lasagne on their menu, if you order lasagne (multiple orders) they may assume you want the bolognese (don’t eat beef). Found this out after opening the box at home which was unfortunate. Feels like whoever is taking takeout orders should confirm which lasagne option they want to confirm.

The food was very good. Had pasta with meatballs (polpette). Pasta was very good quality, it seemed homemade. Tasted the veggie lasagna, which was really nice. Had a slice of Romana pizza. Thought pizza was decent/okay. Had a pear and almond dessert that was extremely good. Excellent wait person that served us. He was great! Overall, the staff seemed very attentive.

My husband and I went last night and it was amazing as always. This place is such a treasure. I went through treatment for breast cancer in 2020 during the pandemic. I had horrible mouth pain from chemo and couldn’t eat for months. When I was finally better, my husband got me the lasagna from here for my first real food. It’s like some kind of magical soufflé. Love this place!

On Mondays, they have $10 for a pizza, so I'd definitely recommend going on a Monday if you go. Make a reservation as it's quite busy. The actual pizza itself is a little soggy and can use more flavor, and it could be more crispy. I'm not sure I would come when it's not a Monday as I'm not sure it's worth it. If you come, come with a small group! They have a good selection of cocktails and wine as well.

Have been coming here for 20+ years. Likely the best antipasto plate in the city, love the roasted tomatoes. The beet app was super good and the Caesar salad is always a crowd pleaser. Had the ravioli, gnocchi and sausage pizza for mains and flourless chocolate cake and strawberry sorbet for dessert. Solid food, it was packed so the service was a little slow but still attentive. Had some beautiful flower arrangements too!

A classy Italian restaurant with a warm atmosphere and delightful staff. The vegetarian options were great. The lasagna was excellent, but the ravioli really stole the show with intense and complex flavors. Everything tasted so fresh! I enjoyed the interior, with its distinctive black-and white theme, softened by natural wood, warm lighting, and a colorful bar area.

The interior is pleasant, but the food is just okay. I was disappointed in the balance of flavors on several of the pizzas as well as the sogginess of the crust, and the balance of flavors in the pasta. The small plates are better, but nothing to write home to mom about considering the prices.

This place holds such a special place in my heart. The restaurant is charming and filled w/ such warmth from the staff and those who attend. Reservations are a must for Monday's as they have pizzas for $10 (such a steal) and everyone wants a seat. Tables are a little small, but they make it work. There's parking up the hill and around the residential area. We ordered: Lasagna Bolognese - Some of the best lasagna I've ever had. It's heavenly light and tender w/ the perfect blend of ricotta. Don't get the half lasagna, order the full and thank me later :-) Margarita Pizza - Generous in size and full of flavor. The pizza topped w/ their parmesan... chefs kiss. The parmesan is so fluffy it almost looks like fresh snow powder. I would buy a container if they ever sold it. I always leave here happy and overly satisfied. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive despite it being busy almost all the time. I'll see you very soon delicious Cafe Lago lasagna (in my dreams and in person).
