We had a date night outing and landed at Cafe Munir on a whim. The mezzo style menu made for a fun journey of getting to try lots of flavors and textures. The food was beautiful and delicious.
Our server Leslie was warm and playful. She was great in guiding us on our first Munir experience.
The ambiance is pretty minimal, but the packed room with energetic neighbors filled the room with the best vibe: community. The warm orange lighting inside complimented the sunset happening outside, which was comforting.
I can’t say I’ve eaten much Lebanese food, but this place was a wonderful introduction. Nothing about the experience felt over the top or trying too hard: it felt warm, authentic, and natural.
North Ballard is lucky to have Cafe Munir. Go pay them a visit!

We love Cafe Munir. Their hummus topped with crispy fried chickpeas and whole roasted garlic cloves is absolute perfection. I could single handedly down an entire order of it, but there are so many fantastic veg (and meat) options to choose from.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is excellent, and they were not only accommodating but welcoming when we braved an early dinner with our 3 kids 5 & under. It's rare to find such a family friendly restaurant in Seattle. This place is a gem, highly recommend.

Munir is amazing. Every time, we get several small plates and each one is uniquely delicious. The entrees and also easily sharable and outstanding. They have a good selection of spirits, ciders and beers and always have a whisky special which never disappoints.

I got a very cold vibe from the servers. Ex : The table next to us had a white couple who were given 4 bread per person while we were given only one per person and we were a party of 4.
We had to ask every time, and each time, they would bring us a single piece.
The next table couple ate one and threw all the 7 pieces, while we starved for bread 😕

Nice small casual restaurant offering Lebanese food. The food felt authentic. Everything was delicious, specially the hummus with bubbling lamb. The chicken and lamb skewers were very tender!
They offer small plates (mezzes) to share and all of them taste great!

Love this Lebanese place! The food is really great! We ordered Hummis Balila, Arnabeet, Baba Ghanoul, Rikikat bil Lahm, Lamb Kifta, and Shish Tapuk.
The menu is hard to tell what are those cuisines and how do they taste like😆 But it turns out really good and special! Super recommend Rikikat bil Lahm, the crunchy lamb roll is covered by powder sugar, yummy 😋 We want to try both chicken and beef skewers, so the restaurant did a mix set for us 👍I love the lamb with their homemade sauce, amazing! The eggplant and Hummis Balila are good, too. Worth to try!
Unfortunately, there’s no cocktail 😭

Café Munir’s food is truly exceptional—each dish is a masterclass in Lebanese cuisine, bursting with flavor and artistry. However, the drinks are offensively overpriced. $18 for a glass of wine is absurd and leaves a bitter taste, detracting from an otherwise outstanding dining experience. Come for the food, but skip the drinks.
