The coffee is mid, and really expensive. Low variety of mid, and expensive pastries. Barista’s are also kind of rude. Don’t come here.

Sriracha breakfast burrito is the best. Ordering online is super easy, the called immediately when they didn’t have the flavor I had requested in stock so it was still ready once I got there.

A cafe where I took a short break. It was delicious coffee. The turmeric drink has a strong spice and is my first taste! This was also delicious. I didn't have any baked goods, but they all looked delicious.
There are only a few seats, so whether or not you can sit down may depend on the time.

I'm basing this review on their London fog which is not on the menu (?) but is a coffeeshop staple.

It was drinkable but the tea itself used was not great, and very much tasted like a regular grocery store bag of tea - it was under sweetened, which I feel like is easy to do when the tea itself isn't the best.
It's probable that the baristas are not trained how to make a London fog, as the ratios of ingredients were just not quite right.

The service was great!

Ordered a drip coffee at about 2pm, nowhere near closing time. They ran out of the roast I wanted while filling my cup. They asked if I minded mixing roasts. I did not. Then they informed me they were out of the 2nd roast as well. They offered to charge me for the next smaller size since my cup wasn't full. I agreed. When I left and sipped my coffee, it was cold and full of coffee grounds. Bottom of the pot. Waste of $6 for the worst cup of coffee I've ever had.

I don't know her name, but the older lady was extremely rude to me and my husband. It's a shame because their coffee is pretty good, but I will never come back here as long as she is here. Right before I had ordered, there was another customer who was also treated very badly by her and ended up just walking out. We should have done the same. I will go to the market and get coffee from there instead.

My favorite coffee shop.

Ladro was walking distance from my Airbnb and once I previewed the menu, I knew I had to order the Medici. If you love the combination of orange & mocha, you will love this signature latte. A slice of orange peel is also a nice accent to the drink. The barista was very friendly and kind and I knew she made it with love. If you try one espresso drink, try the Medici. It was one of my favorite lattes during my stay in Seattle. I wish I would have returned to try the iced version.

If you know me then you know I don’t like to put others down. It’s just if you’re not near a cafe ladro then you’re simply missing out. I had my first breakfast here after a long night of getting sauced and tossed around town, and it was so good I had to embark on a controlled experiment. For four weeks I woke up at the same time on Friday morning, maintained the same eating and water consumption throughout the day, and would go to the cafe once I awoke on Saturday. I tried my meal the Saturday after a boozey night, herbal-only night, both boozey and herbal night, and a sober night. Each time the bacon and beechers cheese scone was causing me to stop and reflect on all of the amazing things in my life (#1 being this gd incredible scone, sorry mum), the iced caramel macchiato both quenching my thirst and inspiring me to be sweet and kind the rest of the day, while the raspberry scone just tickled my fancy each time. Experiment concluded this place is the bees kneez, cats pajamas, and rocks your socks (in a fun way, very non-violent)!To be fair, the stack of lids is too tall and the artwork is of a particular taste, so I’ve outlined precautions to take. For the lids, like the 20th round in a game of jenga the stack is primed timber over, use one hand to gently cusp the second from top lid and hold the remaining upright while grabbing the top lid only. For the art, call ahead and ask what the vibe is, if you have traumas related to clowns, deer (or four legged-woodland creatures), or suspicious looking deer who may’ve been recruited to join Pennywise’s clown gang then you may need to coordinate with supportive friends before becoming a patron of this establishment.

Kid-friendliness: Big Yupp, the staff is great and treats are delicious. Please do consider yo kiddo(s) won’t be able to see the menu and will either love the art or need you to tell them a story before bed that night
