Sometime ago, I had a year plus consulting gig in Seattle, land of a coffee chain that I do not care for ... so I just had to find a unique coffee shop that I could frequent each morning before I went to work. It’s definitely fancy… I got an 8 oz Mocha with oatmilk. The barista was quite friendly with me and asked me extra questions to make sure my drink was right! Buuut it was $8 and I don’t taste the mocha at all. Maybe it’s a refined taste? The baristas were lovely.
I’ve been here SO many times over the summer when I take day trips up to Seattle. I came for the first time in Summer 2022 and returned the next summer in 2023, during a high school art program at Cornish nearby. The man who made my coffee the year before remembered the order I had every day the summer before. He is amazing! Wish I knew his name. I came back again in the fall and he still knew my order, then again that summer and then the following fall. I can’t rave about...
