The single employee on duty was *very* nice. However, they were in transition between spring & summer menus and thus had a very limited menu/selection. Management should manage transitions in the background such that they are seamless to customers. She did make their "Valencia" latte to my liking and it was good. Expensive. $35+tip, for 2 coffees and 3 baked-goods.

An intoxicating Cafe is an amazing place for creatives. Not only do they have delicious coffee from Caffe Vita, a wonderful atmosphere, and great music, but it's their team that truly sets them apart. Here I'm welcomed and accepted as a black artist; and with the relaxing ambiance, I can come up with my best work. They also offer an array of quick meals to choose from, as well as their record shop unique items like limited edition copies of Batman and Robin from 1966! If you're looking for a comfortable space to work, and good coffee (and eat!) you won't be disappointed to visit Intoxicating Cafe.

This location is cramped and always smells bad. The tables and chairs are always dirty too. However, i like the coffee - they just need to improve the space

The best coffee I had in Seattle, till now. Better then Starbucks Reserve, and other in Downtown, or Northgate, U-District, etc...Barista is always nice to people, coffe made with care, love, quality and flavor.All their blends are incredible, try them!
