Travelers beware. Forget the run down tables and chairs, the dark cold environment or the overpriced generic menu. The owner has no problem backing up mediocre food and poor service, while your child goes hungry. After our food arrived and my daughter’s food was so over fried it was inedible, we were not offered an apology or replacement from the staff. The waitress simply said, “I got you.” and walked away. My daughter literally only had one bite!! Albeit the meal was comp’d but we left hungry and after a 12 hour day of flights and traveling, we ended up just finding a grocery store and brought food back to our hotel. We weren’t looking for a free meal-we were looking to actually have a meal!! When I emailed the owner, she simply didn’t validate that another meal could have been offered, especially since she thought the “food was normally great.” She blamed short staff and busy night - MOST of the tables and bar were empty, we were there early. So disappointing since this is walking distance from many hotels for people coming in for concerts like we were. Would not recommend this place for travelers.

The service here is actually insane. The people here HATE their jobs it's almost funny. You would think it is a bit but everyone that works here is so rude and acts like you are an inconvenience for coming. I live right by here and come all the time but it truly blows my mind the way you are treated here. The chicken tenders are bomb though so ui put up with it. But over the last 6 months no one has said hi or smiled once. Am I missing something?

Food was good, atmosphere was good. Staff were unfriendly. They were eating while making drinks and openly eating from the kitchen. I did not see them wash their hands. It would have been better if they ate away from customers. Not impressed. They will not get a good tip from us tonight.

Staff was super nice, (Blond female bartender on 10/25, her name escapes me) food was great, and proximity to climate pledge makes this a great go-to spot to pre-funk an event. definitely recommend.
The chicken pot pie was next level, I don't remember what the wife ordered but I remember she liked it a lot.

Well, now that I’m 25 mins into waiting for our nachos I finally understand why there’s only 310 reviews.
It took them 20 mins to come take our order (keep in mind the entire back area is empty, it’s Saturday at 3pm, and the front of the place is 1/4 full), and we’ve now been waiting for 30 mins for a plate of nachos to arrive.
If you have hours to kill on waiting for staff to serve you, this place is DA BOMB!
If not, take your money and business elsewhere.

I enjoyed a meal here on a recent trip to Seattle. It’s a great place for watching televised sport, but ‘ok’ for drinks and conversation. The servers were polite, but not warm (is that a Seattle thing?). My order came in a timely manner. The chicken sandwich was savory and tasty. The side of fries was really good. I entered this restaurant randomly and had zero expectations. It’s a half-level up from typical bar dining.

If I were rating the food and drinks along, this place would be 4-5 star. My wife's sausage was a bit burnt, but the taco fry bread and Shepards pie were pretty damn tasty. Service started good, but then we were ignored for a good 30 minutes with maybe 20 customers in the place.
Says a lot when 2 concerts had just let out just blocks away and the place is still empty...
What really sank the rating though, was the terrible Friday karoake. The host thought way too highly of himself, prioritizing himself and his cohost to sing multiple times, while never getting around to new singers, even while commenting how no one is putting songs in (I left after nearly a 2 hour wait, and seeing the same 4 people sing 3-4 songs each). Meanwhile, he belittles those who are on stage, restarts their songs, and just talks non-stop. Just...insufferable.
I'll probably go back for the food, but never stepping foot in the place if karoake is happening (and I love karoake).
Edit: still had his songbook in my history...if KJRIO has the mic, go somewhere else.
