Delicious and very fresh blueberry tart
Their chocolate cake is fantastic, I always grab a slice when I’m in the area. Everything else is great, but the cake is my favorite.
Other staples for me are their chicken pie, fruit tart, and lemon roll.
Quick and friendly service. I come here when I crave Chinese baked pastries and goods. My go-tos are their pineapple buns, coconut bun, and custard cream buns. Sometimes all for myself and sometimes for sharing. Their egg tarts are also good. You don't dine here, it's a strictly grab and go kinda place.
Best bakery for Cantonese breads in Seattle. The breads were fresh and fluffy. I also buy them to bring home with me
i got their cream bun, egg tart, and pineapple bun. their bread reminds me of old and traditional style asian bakeries. I enjoyed it because it gave me a sense of nostalgia back to when i was a kid. i especially loved their egg tarts, it had just the right amount of sweetness and the crust was not too thick. the old man who serviced me was also really nice and friendly, i would come back here again!
Bought a cake slice and a fruit tart. The cake was not super fresh but still tasty. The tart was clearly spoiled and should never have been sold.
If you buy here, double check with them how fresh the pastries are.
Strawberry cake was good. But the fruit had become slightly fermented (they pre-sugared the strawberries) ... So there was a faint alcohol taste and fragrance.

Got a taro bun and it was very very good! Fresh taro, creamy with the occasional little chunk, and not too sweet. Just perfect. The bread was perfectly done with a little toasty glaze and a good ratio of filling to bread.

Cash only, and it's so worth it. The tarts are phenomenal, not too sweet and bursting with flavor

There’s a scarcity of good Asian bakeries in Seattle, so glad that Cakehouse exists to fulfill my nostalgia for baked Asian goods.
The staff here is nice and accommodating - I only gave them maybe 2-3 day notice to make a birthday cake and they pulled through. The red lettering and taste is also very close to the cakes my parents would buy for our family’s birthdays but better.
