Update 1/18: A/Stir more than made up for NYE. Ton invited us for an do-over and they knocked it out of the park! We finally had the much anticipated bread pudding and were treated to extra dessert. Definitely try the Risotto and Burrata Arancini. Braised short ribs melted in our mouths and the Chicken Suflaki was very flavorful. Great place for an anniversary dinner. We will be back for NYE for sure. Thank a ton Ton :)

We went here for NYE dinner. The the food was great, including the service and the overall ambiance. However, we felt shortchanged as the all the big ticket items were sold out including bread pudding, steak salad and crab soup. Even though we turned up at 9 pm which is early for NYE. Considering we paid ~$300 for the total affair, I felt we got very little value for our money.

A/stir was stellar! I'm vegetarian and my partner has celiac, so we wanted to find a nice place that would accommodate both of our dietary restrictions. A/stir was perfect. Our server was very cognizant of our restrictions, and the food was really, really good too. My partner was also very pleased about their selection of GF beers, which he doesn't often get to enjoy. I highly recommend this cozy restaurant.

Such an improvement over previous tenant of the space. Interior is lovely and still a Gluten free restaurant which is fantastic! Greeting was warm, service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Menu had many interesting offerings. The sweet potatoes fries were our favorite!

I went for a Jam Session night on Wednesday. Very jazzy, and talented musicians through. It's more like karaoke than an ad lib jam, so the band takes requests. There's a great atmosphere and good seating. The bar is nice and they have nice bartenders and drinks. I recommend dancing, because there's more than enough room to dance.

We haven't visited Seattle in a few years and this was our first time at this resto. We had an awesome experience and enjoyed the arancini balls and brussel sprout appetizers. Mains included lobster mac and cheese along with that evenings ahi tuna and lamb specials. Great atmosphere, service and excellent value for that level of cuisine. We loved it and they made our first night back in Seattle very memorable. What a gem!!!!

TRULY, a great experience. The space is just the right size and has nice low lighting. We made a reservation and got sat as soon as we walked in even with it busy. They treated us so nicely, efficient, and checked in many times but not too much. Finding places that are fully GF is very hard, and for everything to be actually good is even harder. We got the cod and chips, cheese curds, and the wine braised ribs. The portions were just the right size!

Food was amazing! Most of my group had fish and chips and loved it, I had their spaghetti and it was lovely. Very light and creamy sauce. The service was also great, we mentioned going to a show after and they made extra effort to get our food out to us so we could fully enjoy without any rush. And one of my friends is gluten and dairy free so this was an amazing experience for them, getting to eat what they want without any worries and the server was very sweet and thoughtful when answering their questions about the menu.

I'm someone who has celiac disease so it's very hard to find a restaurant that can accommodate me and feel safe. So finding a place that had had a gluten-free kitchen was exciting. Start my daughter daughters and I had a phenomenal time. Not only was the ambience welcoming with the food was phenomenal. We started with a calamari and that was superb tender, and flavorful. Then we had a short ribs fish, and chips. The short ribs were tender, and the potatoes were filled so much flavor. They just melted in my mouth. The fish and chips were perfection. The perfect amount of crispiness and tenderness. We will definitely return. Can't wait to try more of what they have to offer.

This is the best place in town if you want to have a safe GF meal for special occasions with a peace of mind. We've been coming since they used to be called Capitol Cider; repeat diner for special occasions, and they did not disappoint. We had the NYE course meal with cider pairing (there was a wine pairing option too). Plenty of options if you are GF and also have other restrictions like eggs and dairy. Everything tasted delicious. I also had a nice mini gin tasting with the mixologist because I spotted an unusual Japanese gin on the shelf from my seat. It was a very pleasant NYE (again!). It's not fancy fine dining, but the price is quite fair and the food is delicious, and for not having to negotiate accommodations with a regular non-GF restaurant, it's more than worth it for this celiac. We come here when it's not special occasions, too, and we always enjoy the food and drinks in fun friendly atmosphere. Always recommended.

We were there for NYE and it was a tasting menu. Amazing, incredible, delicious, mind blowing, intense and other worldly are all adjectives to describe it. The lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. The wine pairings were perfect. We can't wait to go back.

For those of us who can’t eat gluten, this is the place to bring your family and friends who want to go out to dinner with you but don’t want to eat cardboard.

I can't say a bad thing about our dinner at A Stir. We started with a seared Ahi appetizer that was so light and delicious followed by the Brussel Sprouts appetizer also delicious. For our entrees we had the flank steak and the lamb burger. Both were cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Then we had the cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream. The honey drizzle on the ice cream was a great addition. We will definitely be dining there again. The server was amazing and very attentive to us.
