Hidden gem coffee shop tucked away in Capitol Hill! If you walk past, you might not notice this cute cafe. Wander in and order from their simple menu. I snagged a latte and wow that was one strong espresso shot! It was definitely not too sweet either. I appreciated the ample seating space and they even have some tables upstairs for working. It's definitely a great place to get some work done!

Being slow to re-introduce ceramic cups. An espresso dispensed in a paper cup is really underwhelming.

This is one of my favorite places to get coffee in Capitol Hill! The quality of the coffee is unrivaled. The service can be good or bad depending on the day.

First stop at a local joint in Seattle. Picked up a visitor from the airport and gave them first choice. We ended up here and really liked it.It’s a cozy, yet modern, cafe. Pretty traditional coffee shop options. Everything was made well and tasted good.Of particular note, they had a sign up say no need to tip, the prices incorporate what it takes to pay people appropriately. Big kudos to the management/owner on prioritizing workers.

Got a cortado with their featured Ethiopia light roast espresso. It was really good -- great mouthfeel and also just the right amount of milk not to wash out the subtle flavors (hints of blueberry). In a past visit I got their Guatemala espresso and that was solid too. They definitely know what they're doing with their light roasts. They work in tips/wages into the menu prices, so be warned some of their drinks are a little pricey. I'm all for fair wages, but 4.25 for an espresso is too much for me. Otherwise I'd come here a lot more frequently. Note: Their upstairs level is open for seating now that mask restrictions have been lifted.

Deebo is no happy with the price of two cups of coffee for $15. Way too pricey, too hipster for my taste.

Needed coffee, got coffee! Friendly staff, not a "burnt" roast. Didn't stay to sit but lots of room if I'd wanted to.

We are visiting Seattle from Kentucky this week, and have tried several different coffee places in Capitol Hill. This was by far the best - all around. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, and amazing coffee. Wishing all the other coffees I’ve already had this week would’ve been from Capitol Coffee Works! Cannot wait to return during future trips.

Always happy to go to coffee shops and spend time working or a good me time session! I went in here this afternoon to get some work done, Capitol Coffee Works is in the heart of Cap Hill, parking is a bit tricky, walking is a good option. A nice brightly lit café with less space if you want to work and spend time, they have the seating on the top closed, don't know tho. I got the Vanilla latte and have enjoyed my cuppa as it was raining so bad this afternoon.

Coffee was expensive for the size. It also did not taste good. But they gave a complimentary sparkling water.

Cute little place. Their drinks were good but the music in the cafe was too loud to concentrate when we're trying to study.

This was the best try to chai tea latte I’ve ever had in Seattle! Extremely great customer service, super friendly atmosphere, and great location close to all kinds of sites and amenities. Highly recommend checking out this coffee shop if you are in the neighborhood!

Always good to drop by one of the Coffee Works stores - baristas are kind, shops always have a funky vibe, and the coffee is great. This location is much smaller than the previous Seattle Coffee Works store, but it's still got that cozy/artsy feel about it. They always have two espresso offerings - their usual (Space Blend) and another (either a SO or their holiday blend rn). You can never go wrong with space, but I do enjoy trying their other espressos too as they tend to be lighter/fruitier. One of my regular spots and I always recommend dropping by!
