This Carmelo's location was a tad slow for our in house order and had limited seating. The food however was the same Carmelo's taste and quality which was great to see - for sure a fan of their queso.
The horchata is fabulous, and I enjoyed Al pastor taco, although it’s cubed not sliced nice and charred off a spit. The asada was fine. The carnitas, which I don’t think they had before was a bit overcooked and not as flavorful as I expected. The worst part is that the carnitas had that hard cartilage in it that is real unpleasant to repeatedly bite into. Kind of a bummer. I’ll stick with the pastor next time. Or just go to Dick’s a few doors down. They either don’t...
MIND BLOWN. Simply the best tacos and burritos this side of Arizona. Everything i get is a ten. And you can customize items. I tend to pack in the protein and drop the rice. My god, the birria tacos. Oy.
