Bomb tacos and I love the burrito bowl. El Pastor is my fav.
Good tacos but average burrito bowls. I ordered tacos here multiple times and they are all well seasoned. However, the burrito bowl is more like a salad bowl with mostly lettuce base, the chicken and rice almost have no salt and overall is pricey compared to chipotle, which for the same price includes cheese and guacamole.

I got a vegetarian burrito with mushrooms in it and the flavors were so wonderful! I was eating it in Queen Anne and two people stopped me to ask where I got it. Thanks so much!

Food was amazing, but the few times I've been there, they've not honored any requests to leave some ingredients out. Those who suffer from allergies may want to avoid as a result.

Their prices are overpriced now they over charge on everything a burrito used to be $8.50 now it's $10.49. I've been going to Carmelo's regularly for 3 years now always thought it was priced fairly. You can go to Chipotle get a burrito bowl with two tortillas on the side and make two burritos bigger than the ones they have which comes out to about $5.50 a burrito! No tipping at Chipotle is recommended or required. If you have your wallet lined by far go ahead and order there. I ordered one burrito two tacos and a side of salsa verde with a 15% tip and somehow it came out to almost $30....food is good price is ass.... Update as of 11/02/2024 the burritos went up $0.50 more to 10.99 + Tax at 10.35 plus 15 percent tip equals $14.34 for a damn burrito with no sour cream or guacamole or even lettuce or tomatoes TF. In the photo I'm on my second burrito from my burrito bowl at Chipotle for under $11.21
Vegetarian options: Just tell them no meat
Parking: It is a paid parking lot just don't spend more than 20 minutes eating.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is a walk-up window so it is wheelchair friendly.

Warning: Greasiest tacos you’ll ever taste. Also, sadly, no flavor. I bought three tacos and could only finish one and a half. Couldn’t bring myself to finish the rest.

Meat on the tacos was incredibly bland and food was cold by the time I got it, as employees filled several orders that came after mine while it sat there. Paid for extra salsa, and instead got no salsa, and the employee argued with me when I asked for the salsa I paid for. Will not be returning

I had heard so many good things about Carmelo's, but I thought it was just okay. Got carne asada tacos. I like that they included salsa and price was fair ($7 for 2 tacos), but I would rather go to Tacos Chukis or even Dick's.
Wish they'd also thrown a bench in so we had somewhere to eat. Wait was also kinda long

Maybe I did something wrong, because the mushroom burrito was quite... average... Cute hole in the wall though!
The vegan mushroom tacos are really spicy but also really good

If you're nearby and looking for a fantastic taco or burrito for pretty reasonable prices for the area, Carmelos is simply the go-to. Heck, even if you're somewhere else, get over here and have some of this food!
While they're practically the only game in town for a rapid meal of this caliber in the entirety of the hill- I guess they pride themselves on running laps around the competition, because they're always on point.
You can't go wrong with either the asada burrito, which easily feeds two, or the chicken tacos for that perfectly tender grilled goodness.
The chips and guacamole are a little expensive, but the freshness and homemade quality make for a tempting splurge.
The staff is super fast and friendly, and the tunes they play from the kitchen always send my heart to sunny climes
