Have you ever love a dish so much that you had to take an extra one to go?
That was me today with their Pozole! It has been 8 years since I had something as tasty if not more, specially coming from California. Do you yourself a favor and get it with some chicken mole too!
Food is excellent. One of the best in Seattle.
Very authentic home style and varied Mexican cuisine.
Place is old school decoration but clean, nothing clishee.
You would never regret a lunch there.

Great neighborhood spot. Dine in for great service and a family environment. During our visits, we had more than half of the menu and never had any complaints. I'm no expert in Mexican food but I do really like this place, the food and the people who run it.

Texans, don’t come here looking for your fajita fix.
We have been here a couple of times and it is hit or miss. Carnitas were extra tasty last time. The enchilada trio plate was a fun way to experience the different sauces. I wish the beans and rice had a little more garlic. Fajitas did make me sad. The beef had a lot of gristle I couldn’t chew, and they were served with marginally cool factory tortillas.
Margaritas taste fresh, and not too mix-y. Service is fast and friendly.
Green sauce is tangy and the red sauce is spicy and flavorful.
We will be back and try other items. The fried fish looks amazing in other people’s reviews.

It is rare when one of the meats misses. I loved the flavor of the asada, Chorizo, and carnitas. The weakest one was the alpastor but it wasn't bad.

I see all these great ratings and I’ve tried this place a few times. I don’t get it. Just got carnitas that are dry and bland, I’ve tried a few other dishes that were similar. I’d recommend going down the street to Loxicha instead, that little shack has AMAZING food. Especially by comparison.
