Placed an order for carne asada plate with refried beans for pick up, and paid online.
I show up at the pickup time and they say they don't have any orders on their system.

I show them the receipt for the order, they say they don't have the order.

I request a refund and they refuse, saying they can get the order going starting then.

I had already waited 35-45 minutes and wanted a refund. They refused.

I called bank to dispute the charges.

Inside was under construction and atmosphere overall was sloppily thrown together.

Do not recommend.

The food was really good but was expensive. It could have been over the phone ordering issue because I ordered it to go but I thought I was getting a combination plate with two items and beans and rice instead. Somehow I ended up with one item with beans and rice and a whole separate item so it came up to 30 bucks. But all the food was very delicious.

Server never checked on us, never refilled water, food had SO much oil in it, and the waiter had to ask what we ordered before we got the bill which we had to ask for after waiting 20 minutes

Visited about 3:30 on a sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to have caught their happy hour. The bartender, Max was a great host and crafted us some great virgin drinks from the bar -- both were beautiful and tasty (strawberry lemonade & pina colada)

My brother and I shared the nachos and carne asada plate...both were great...I feel like you can tell a good mexican restaurant by their rice and beans...these guys nailed both. Each item on the plate was infused with homemade flavor and though we both left feeling satisfied, I probably could have eaten twice as much and been happy to do so.

Though the music selections were great for the atmosphere, the bartender offered to lower the volume if it felt too loud, which I thought was very considerate, even though it never got to he too much for us ;)

They’re not friendly to the African-American community. At alll. I definitely Get CUT off and I can’t stand that. When things like that happen, you expect then manager to address it .. hard to Do when he sets the tone

Great little independent hole in the wall with great character. Mariachi Band bonus, if you hit the right time frame. It's loud, don't be scared.

Sunday/Mother's Day was my first visit to Casa Patron since moving to the Roosevelt neighborhood. Mid afternoon and it was chaotic and not even full(bar area was completely empty). The hostess was making it more chaotic as she was doing little to help the 2 servers who were also working as bartenders and running the register. The hostess didn't appear to know how to bar tend or ring up a bill. People were waiting too long for their bills; 1 group finally left saying they'd settle up later with the owner. Took me forever to get a menu and I was the only customer in the bar. A server brought me a beer which I didn't order. Food was good; had to repeatedly ask for my bill. When I finally received the bill he'd charged me for the beer which I thought was a gesture because of the poor service.
