a delivery driver, I was told the order would be ready in 5-10 minutes, but I ended up waiting over an hour. This completely wastes drivers’ time, costs us money, and messes up other deliveries. Please be honest with wait times — we rely on accurate estimates to do our job efficiently. Very frustrating experience.

Finally visited after seeing so many great reviews about Cedars!

We got: Mediterranean Salad, Curry Specialties, Garlic Naan, Butter Masala, and Spinach & Paneer Naan! Everything so so delicious! And very filling! We were basically in awe of everything we ate, how well seasoned every dish was, and how we should’ve come sooner!

Everyone was super kind and helped us get situated into our table, and we definitely will come again!

Not at all good food. Bad experience

Very poor quality of food, paneer was very chewy and garlic naan was not nicely done, I’ve got a bad stomach after having. Won’t visit again. Paneer butter masala just had paneer, no gravy at all which is not how it should be and the paneer quality was poor.

I'm usually skeptical of combinations of Middle Eastern cuisine with the cuisine that it's most often confused with in the PNW, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. There were thre of us, so we ordered plenty of dishes, both Indian and Middle Eastern (Lebanese perhaps?), and everything was excellent, as was the service.

The medium spicy chicken korma gave my husband such horrific food poisoning he thought he was going to need to go to the emergency room. You would think for a restaurant that charges decently for their food, and has been around so long, they wouldn't let their food turn to poison. A terrible experience.

If you're in search of a dining experience that ticks all the boxes—great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere—look no further than Cedars Restaurant . Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting this charming spot, and it truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff his name (Amir) very friendly and respectful person.

Meh. As soon as my husband and I were seated we remembered we'd been here before and hadn't been wowed. The service wasn't great - never got my wine (although it wasn't on the bill, so at least that didn't have to get corrected). We were basically forgotten about.

Had a something delight variety platter and it all tasted the same - wasn't very flavorful. The chicken masala was extremely tomato-y tasting, sweet instead of spicy.

Not for us - but could have been an off night. It's an institution in the U-District for a reason, I'm sure!

We had dinner there today and the food was just very below average. We used to go to cedars and had not been there the last few years.. went there today and it was very disappointing.
Our order was all messed up, the food was way below average and the atmosphere was very disappointing. It looked like all the food was just microwaved- Indian food with no fragrance.. To top it off here was not even a lot of people in the restaurant but there was no parking in the designated area ..
We could have had a lot more options with much better Indian food in Issaquah or Bellevue- we are never going back..

Vegetarian options: Palak paneer tastes like salty saag paneer which was reheated in the microwave.. 🤮

I’ve been going to cedars for years because the food is incredible. Tonight our order was no exception, delicious as always. But it was the service that made me want to leave a review. We made a to go order and the man working noticed my husband was carrying our daughter and kindly brought our food out to the car for us so he didn’t have to struggle. Then we received an extra mango lassi and 2 pieces of baclava as a surprise saying happy new year! Love a place with good food that goes above and beyond like that. ❤️
