My boyfriend and i came here for a date night and our server Ella was incredible, so kind and attentive. The food and atmosphere were both great. My one complaint unfortunately is that I think it’s ridiculous that a restaurant so “upscale” charges a 3% fee just for using a credit card, it definitely takes away from the experience.
The food was delicious. The service felt so lacking. The girl Ella, who (hardly) waited on me didn't explain the menu. When I asked for recommendations, she just disingenuously puhsed for the most expensive item on the menu. When I ordered a ramen, she was giving me the eyes and making me uneasy to the point that I felt like I should order more food to meet her expectations. The dishes are hit or miss. Hits are delicious and misses are just okay. Nothing was bad, just wouldn't order certain dishes again.
Service was great, but I would like it if they swapped out plates considering a lot of their items are meant to share and they can be very saucy.
