Service was great. Drinks and wine pairing was amazing. Loved the butternut squash soup. Prime rib was room temp.

I met two friends from Tacoma and a friend from Port Townsend at Charlotte to celebrate two birthdays (I am a Seattle resident). The welcome at Charlotte was exquisite from the stools for handbags to the offer to hang coats to the surprise glasses of champagne. And the service was excellent - responsive and clear explanation of the menu, beautiful presentation - particularly of the soup which was "built" at the table. But the food just wow'd us. We ordered the beet salad, a wonderful soup, a black cod dish, a chicken dish and two rockfish dishes. Every plate was a beauty to behold. Everyone was overjoyed with the flavors. Not a drop was left. The food by itself was definitely a cut above - a higher level than all others. So . . . we ordered a dessert to share - the carrot cake. And again, we were impressed with the presentation, the beauty on the plate, the creativity and the fabulous mix of flavors. We asked our server to tell the chef it was outstanding. I am sure we will all be back. And we will sing the praises of Charlotte. Bravo!

Food and service were terrible, I highly DO NOT recommend. Save your money, and go somewhere else, anywhere else

Poor value for the quantity/quality food. Our meal with a half price bottle of wine, small appetizer, and two vegetarian meals was $200.

The ambience was amazing and the food was good but I felt the portions were small and slightly overpriced. The service was just okay. We kept having to flag our waiter down to get service and order our food and drinks. The restaurant already added the service charge on our bill, which we didn't know. For how much our bill was, we expected better service and food.

Great restaurant! the food is delicious and the atmosphere encourages good discussions. Nice view on the city sky scrapers.

Stopped by to have a coffee. Ordered a cortado. Ummm what I got was not a cortado, unfortunately. It was coffee with slightly warmed up milk in a cappuccino cup. But the server was cheerful :) and friendly and the bartender was very nice. I guess I paid for the view and friendliness.
Maybe work on coffee?

The food was absolutely amazing. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and they got us a window seat with an amazing view and complementary Champaign. The food is expensive but it is so well done that is is worth the price. Do not skip out on dessert! The Stone was absolutely to die for. The servers and staff are incredible and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. The bartending staff with also give you a great recommendation for pair cocktails if you choice instead of the wine. Overall, would 100% go back.

We had our company dinner with 85 guests here and did a buyout of the Main Dining Room for the evening and it was epic! Huge kudos to the Event Manager, Naleisha, who from the start to finish - ensured everything was stellar for our group, answered all my million questions promptly, helped day of with little items needed at the last minute, and was so professional and wonderful throughout. The venue itself has beautiful views, our group sat in King's Tables and the food was so excellent and high quality, no lag time in between, and the servers and staff were the best we've had at an event in ages. Thanks to the entire Charlotte team for a perfect event, we will come back!

One of my favorite places in town for lunch. I'd highly recommend the Kimchi Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. Service is always great and it's hard to beat the view if you can get a window table.

Absolutely love this place! We were looking for a place we hadn't been, with locally sourced, northwest focused and not overly complicated food. This was perfect! Located on the 16th floor with an incredible view of the sunset, ferries, fireworks going off at Lumen Field (!) Loved the food (roasted duck breast - beautifully prepared and perfect crust), and the baked rockfish (outstanding). Wine selection was great and service impeccable (thank-you Daniel!). We left feeling we had made a great discovery and knowing we will be back!

The atmosphere and view were beautiful but the food was just okay, as is typical for most Seattle area restaurants. For the price we paid for the prix fixe anniversary dinner(400$ with included 20% service for two), I noted a couple of things that should not have happened:
1) there was plastic wrap still around the foie gras when served to me
2) the quenelle sorbet was served premade and fozen, not freshly made, which made using a spoon nearly impossible
3) the bathrooms had no coat hanger
4) toilets wouldn't flush

Overall, would return for happy hour and sunset, but not for a special occasion.

Braised rib was much too salty. The wild Alaskan salmon was delicious but so tiny. Martini was not cold. I asked it be shaken but should have emphasized, shaken really hard!! Service was excellent!!
