Loved the traditional French toast and my bf got the carbonara pasta—was all so good!
Broke my spam virginity here! Was amazing. Fast service and great food that was reasonably priced.

Honestly had high expectations coming in.. I wanted to love this cafe sooo badly… but I didn’t have a great experience. 1. Came in, place was full & put myself on the waiting list - waited about 10 - 12 mins or so. 2. When the bussed my table, IT SMELT BAD! Definitely don’t think they’re changing their sani buckets often with hot water/bleach because it smelt TERRIBLE - made me nauseous. 3. After placing my order it then took another 30 mins, just to get pancakes/frenchtoast.. 4. Their cheeky frenchtoast filling felt lacking.. barely any berries, no cream, and outside just felt burnt. Could’ve used some whip - that would’ve made it better. 5. Lastly, there was a hair in our chicken sausage.. that made me lose my appetite so I didn’t even eat my French toast and left hangry.. I kept looking at the two chefs in the back who only had a bandana instead of a hairnet… YIKES.
Oh also, when I got coffee, there was only brown sugar and I notice across someone had a whole variety.. when asking for sugar, the waiter said “oh, brown sugar doesn’t work for you?” And I felt like asking for Splenda was just too much for them..
Hot take, I rather wait later then have a fast, great, kind service.. versus just trying to get everyone in seats quickly and then have rude, rushed, poor quality, yet slow to receive food service.

The best place I have ever been. The food and service are worth a small wait. Trust me !
Not sure how they got a positive food inspection rating. They don’t use hair netting in the back to prep food. Just pulled out a long hair out of my hash browns.

Good food. Expect some wait on weekends. I got the French toast with eggs and bacon. Also, I had some carbonara and chicken patty. It was all delicious, I would love to come back in the future and try different items.

It doesn’t matter which plate you choose, I’m sure it’s gonna be delicious! Carbonara is amazing, the omelettes are great. Highly recommend! Been here several times with my wife over the years. Consistent quality food, service, vibes.

Cool little café with a great Swattle vibe. Super sweet people and great food.
We used to frequent this place, but stopped going after they served one single piece of smaller than a girl’s palm size of gluten free French toast for $8 and it didn’t even look well cooked.

Absolutely lovely place to eat for lunch! The staff are so kind and quick. This was my first time and I got the meatloaf sandwich with Tomato soup and it was all delicious! The bread for the sandwich tasted very fresh with a flaky crust and is fluffy and warm. The meatloaf was meaty with no fillers and a hint of spice. The sauce was 'chefs kiss'. The tomato soup was served with croutons and cheese topping which really brought the soup together. The seating was cozy and the place was pretty relaxed when I visited. No pretencious writwrs typing out their screenplays while throating pumpkin spice lattes. Just a quiet and calm atmosphere that I loved. TLDR: I will 100% be coming back soon!

A very cute, quaint little café, serving American breakfast and lunch, in a neighborhood that’s severely lacking in breakfast places. All the food I’ve had is great, the French toast is amazing! But one of the best parts of this place is the service… The morning employee (maybe the owner?) is extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating.
