Absolutely perfect. Every detail of my meal, from the house-made pickles to the fresh strawberry garnish, was a delight to the senses. Will be returning in the future!

Love this little neighborhood place. I've stopped here a couple times while out on walks, mostly for the baked goods. The brownies and cookies are excellent. Looks like they have a variety of food choices that I will try during future visits. This part of the Central District is giving me new hope that Seattle is still alive and can thrive.

Love this cute little place! Can't speak to their cafe as I've only ever shopped in their market, but I love stopping in and getting a fancy treat or two before hitting Grocery Outlet. Customer service is always great as well.

Excellent food!! I had the chicken pesto sandwich. I only ordered a half sandwich because I knew the full size would be too much for me. Joyce is so nice, and her market/café is just wonderful. She does everything herself, and there is a large assortment of premade meals to take home. I am very happy to support this local small business.

The food here is fabulous. And the service is great! Look through the refrigerator section and grab something for later! Joyce is so kind and you can tell she really cares for her community and customers.

Cute little place across from Grocery Outlet, on Union and MLK. I want to love this place unfortunately our experience was just alright. Their Arnold Palmer drink was delicious and very refreshing but the sandwiches need improvement. My sandwich was overflowed with vignette dressing and not much taste besides vinegar. As for the French Dip, it was also okay as well. Not much of a wow flavor to it, the meat was dried. Honestly, how can you go wrong with a French Dip?As for the market side, they seem to have many cool sauces and cheese options but I wouldn't consider this place a butcher shop. I consider fresh meat, cut the way you want with all sore of variety is a butcher shop.I love to support local businesses but we probably have to skip out on this place unless things improve.

Slooooow. Even though there was only the two of us and one other couple there. We waited forever to get the appetizer, which were just fried up Brussels, which were pretty yummy, nevertheless. Didn't get any napkins, and when i went to take some, the guy gave me only one, then couldn't find any more. Then they brought one sandwich out, and then another 1 minutes later. The roasted vegi sandwich was ok, somewhat dry. Sandwich bread nothing special. It was sunny out, so very nice to be sitting out, which probably made the experience a 3-star one, where in reality, it is more of a 2-star.

Neighborhood gem! Delicious sandwiches and deli, but what is uniquely great about Joyce's is the selection of frozen prepared meals, dips, spreads, and sauces. When we were home with a new baby, her pot pies got us through the first three months.

Joyce is a great small business owner. She also makes some great food! Check out the frozen section for an easy weeknight meal and grab a bottle of great olive oil or box of pasta while you're at it. You can go wrong with a sandwich and soup either. Trust, you'll enjoy all of it!

The pimento cheese is everything when hosting a get together! Lots of great pre made foods as well as a full meat and cheese deli counter. Wines, sandwiches to eat there or takeaway. Owners are super sweet and helpful.

A lovely small and cozy sandwich place and market. Joyce whipped up a lunch for 4 with lots of care and attention. Good touch with the Connect 4 game while waiting for the food to come.

Walked in this morning and was completely charmed. Great selection of yummy goodies in the store, and then Joyce crafted the most delicious croque monsieur. This is the place you want to support in our neighborhood - small, local business doing stellar work. Will be taking the charcuterie platters to my next function for sure! Thank you Joyce for an absolutely lovely experience.

Refused to let me enter the market side with my service dog, and did it rudely, to boot. Not sure that's even legal, but whatever. The teriyaki place around the corner wasn't rude at all, go there instead, or the grocery outlet - neither of those places seem to be run by axe-faced haters.

I was looking for a local sandwich shop, but this one really disappointed me. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and it was really bland tasting. I love pesto, and as a rule I always order it when it's one the menu. But this pesto lacked any real flavor. There was only a small amount of chicken and it was also bland. The Brad was great, but with so little chicken and pesto, the sandwich tasted mostly like bread, which is not what I want ever. And it was really expensive. Super disappointed.
