Chennai Express Authentic Indian

Absolutely appalling! My son was hospitalized after eating at this restaurant yesterday. He had idli and cheese dosa, and ever since, he's been plagued with severe stomach aches. The hygiene of the restaurant is also unacceptable. It's completely unacceptable for an establishment to serve food that causes health crises. I strongly urge the city to conduct thorough inspections and check the quality of this place immediately to prevent further incidents.

I ordered Bisibelabath and Thalapakattu Chicken Biryani, and both were very disappointing. The Bisibelabath lacked proper flavor and tasted bland, and the thalapakattu chicken biryani didn’t taste fresh. Overall, the food quality was poor and not worth the price.

I've done takeout orders a couple times and the experience was mixed. Chana masala was very delicious. It was very oily though, maybe that's why it tasted good 😅
Onion samosa wad good.

Chicken pepper fry wasn't upto the mark. Chicken was either undercooked or it wasn't fresh. Pepper quantity was too much.

I'll update review if I decide to try again.

Worst experience had to wait for 30 mins after it was showing prepared and staff had a really bad attitude worst will never order again

Chennai Express Authentic Indian has been on my bucket list for ages, and I can't wait to experience their renowned South Indian cuisine! The moderate price range, seems perfectly reasonable for quality Indian cuisine in Seattle. I can't wait to get back to Seattle.

Recently found out about this place. Food is authentic Indian. We have tried their idli sambhar, aloo tikki and pepper chicken, all of them were superb. Aloo tikki is amazingly crispy, looks like a kachori. Parking is not easy, so delivery might be easier than ordering takeout

We recently ordered food from Chennai Express and had an outstanding experience! The biryani was rich and flavorful, while the pakoras were a definite crowd favorite—perfectly crispy, delicious, and received plenty of compliments from our guests. The food quality was top-notch, and the delivery was prompt and reliable. Highly recommend Chennai Express for any gathering or special occasion!

The food was amazing. We ordered Paneer butter masala, chapathi and samosas. Samosas were great, not at all oily. Also, the paneer curry was so good. It is a must try.

We had a variety of food catered for our office event. All of the food were VERY delicious. Would recommend trying food here! We had food ranging from Tikka paneer, basmati rice, chicken tikka masala, and mango lassi.
