I was served the wrong food and beer. Service was poor, slow. Came down with food poisoning later in the day.

The most racist bar I have encountered in Seattle. Going to Rhein Haus next door where they appreciate their customers.

Usually watch the hawks on the Eastside where i lived until a tree on our place (the wind storm) left us staying with a friend in Seattle. Came here for the game, beers and food. I was greeted by Sam, a customer, and Lauren, the bartender. These folks were awesome, had me smiling and enjoying myself immensely. Fish and chips were the best I've had in Seattle. Would recommend this establishment 110%.

Drinks are always fine, karaoke is good- and sometimes the food is good. Basically, a solid 3 (at best).

However, tonight we had a rat friend- who we named Ben- in the corner with us in the back. Ben was clearly hungry. We were too. So we ordered food.

Unfortunately the online menu is dated- and so the potato skins and coconut shrimp we decided were not actually an option. Thats fine, but socially awkward people try to decide ahead of time and instead we had to uncomfortably decide while the bartender was already waiting on us. A best-guess-decision led us to the “garbage tots” and the chips & guac.

Our food arrives. The garbage tots were giving middle school lunchroom tots. Not offensive, not good, no one really ate them. The chips & guac- oh my god. Chieftain, like most establishments, has something like an air freshener through out the building. Kind of a perfumey-windex smell. It’s not terrible when you’re in the building. It IS terrible when your tortilla chips are old, stale, and absorbed the perfume into them. They were genuinely gnarly and inedible. The guac got mixed reviews, I personally thought it was fine. Though, anything after the perfume chips probably tastes great.

So, back to Ben the Rat. Ben kept visiting, and if we weren’t going to eat the chips & guac, we thought Ben might. We threw some single tortilla chips and chips with guac near his hole in the fence. Then, nervously, Ben slowly came out from his safe hole and cutely nibbled on the tortilla chips. HOWEVER YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BEN DID NOT LIKE THE GUAC. He would take the chip and leave the guac.

So, two food items were immediately rejected and then the last debatable food item was rejected by BEN THE RAT.

I would’ve liked to give it a better rating, but instead all I can give it is a “no guac please” ratting.

I had the worst margarita of my life here, and I’ve had a lot of margaritas.

10/10 experience. On Sunday they have wings that are $1 per wing. Great service and great atmosphere! A very chill vibe to come to on a Sunday afternoon. Wings were perfectly seasoned and the service was quick. Check this place out if you are in the area !

I'm not drinking at the time due stomach issues, but got really bored, so I went in here for an appetizer and was up-charged for the second time in several months. I was lead to believe the appetizers were included at the Sunday discount through some confusion from a barback eating at the bar and the bar tender. When I closed out it was $15+ for a personal size cheese pizza, not $6, and their hands were tied. The well drinks taste more like the smell of plasticol than alcohol, and the prices are far too high for how sticky the floors and surfaces are.Three stars for finally getting new pool sticks and for the food not tasting as cheap as the drinks. I won't return until I hear that it's at least a three and a half star place, lol

Bartender held my card to open a tab and I immediately had fraudulent charges on my card. Not saying with 100% certainty that's how it happened, but it's suspicious as hell since this is the only place that card has ever been out of my sight. Also service was incredibly slow, bartender and other staff kept disappearing into the back with shots while people waited at the bar to order.
